NEW Stamps Launch Sale!
Hello, hello! Bibi here today to share not just one, but THREE new sheets of stamps available from Rubber Dance - starting today!
Click on the image to see a larger version. In-between the houses, you'll find pattern stamps to add texture to your backgrounds.
I have fallen in love with these quirky Amsterdam style houses. Susanne and I have both made some sample cards to show you how versatile these houses are - please see below.
The sheet measures 18 x 13 cm (7 x 5 inches). The top two rows of houses are 10 and 11,5 cm long. The single house, bottom left is 6,5 cm tall.
The second new sheet is called Beautiful Words.
Cut the words apart and start spelling your own sentences! See samples below.
I bought this font from a professional calligrapher, and I think it's really beautiful. (She gave me the rights to make rubber stamps from her font).
The sheet measures 18 x 13 cm (7 x 5 inches).
It's quite different from other sentiments we have here at Rubber Dance and I hope you will like it as much as I do.
There are more samples further down.
And last, but not certainly not least, Susanne's Watercolour Xmas. Why the name? Because Susanne designed these stamps so that you can easily achieve a gorgeous watercolour effect - without any experience with watercolour painting at all!
Here's how: Stamp the ornaments with a water based ink on watercolour paper. While the ink is still fresh, use a paintbrush with a bit of water and "pull" the ink towards the middle for a quick and easy watercolour effect.
Remember, easy isn't cheating! ;-)
After your "watercolour" has dried, make a negative mask to cover the paper around your ornament and use the pattern stamps to add decoration inside them. See below for samples. Susanne is working on a video tutorial for these.
