Interview with DT Member Susanne

Name: Susanne Rose
Location: Bayern, Germany

How long have you been stamping and what made you start?
I've been stamping for 2-3 years now. I started because I wanted to create stamped polymer clay jewellry. This brought me to cardmaking and scrapbooking. After I became a guest designer for Rubber Dance my passion for stamps started growing fast.

How do you improve your skills and/or learn new techniques?
I learned lots of techniques on YouTube and by experimenting by myself.

How would you describe your style?
I'd say my style is totally mixed media and very colourful.

What do you make the most often?
I LOVE to make tags and cards. I work in my art journal to find ideas for canvases. I also love creating mini albums to put in family photos. As I don't share private things on the internet I rarely show these.

Which materials/products do you frequently use?
Stamps, acrylic paints, ink, markers, my Gelli Plates, dies and stencils.

How often do you make something?
I create nearly every day. Instead of watching TV I'm sitting at my craft table and play.

Where do you buy the supplies you need?
I am from Germany and my favourite online shops are:
Rubber Dance (as the international shipping is free on orders over €35)
Stempelmühle
Bastel-Welt
Irishteddy
AFS-Trendshop

Are there any particular stampers you would like to meet?
There are so many awesome artists, so this is too hard to decide.
But I'd really like to meet my Teamies as we share the same passion!

I've been a member on the Rubber Dance Design team since August 2014. First I started as a guest designer and became a full member in Feb. 2015. What I like the most about being part of the team is that it is a very friendly and uncomplicated team. I'm feeling like home at Rubber Dance because all my stamping skills grew in this group.

Wish you all a wonderful and creative day!

Hugs, Susanne!

Here are some of the things I have made with stamps from Rubber Dance:

So nice to read about you, Susanne. It's hard to believe that you were quite new to stamping when we first met online two years ago, as your artwork already looked like that of a pro back then! I'm really happy and grateful that you are still on my DT and that you also continue designing new stamps for Rubber Dance ♥
