CASology Challenge #210: Dizzy - Card by Bibi


Hi there! I'm just popping in to post the card I made for this week's challenge at CASology.



I used the spiral stamp from Round in Circles, and part of the Giraffe. The text was written on my computer. I first included the word 'spin' to my computerized text, but felt that it was redundant :)

Cool CAS card Bibi! I love the giraffe he is so cute and naughty :)I think I have to take him out of the box and use him for something again. It's been a long time since I saw him. Hope he's not mad at me......

CASology Challenge #213: Stitch - Card by Bibi

The cue word at the CASology challenge this week is STITCH, so without further ado - here's my card: Stamps used (all from Rubber Dance): Giraffe , Mannequin from Sew Sweet ,  X stitches from Stitch & Frame . Stamped with Archival Ink (coffee), coloured in with Distress inks (tea dye and mermaid lagoon). After all, fall/autumn is all around us (here in the north, anyway), and we do love its glorious colours! We hope you do, too, when you create an entry (or three) for our October Challenge: Did you know that "fall" is an Old English word? It replaced the word 'harvest' in the early 1600s as more people started moving into cities. City dwellers began to use the phrase 'fall of the leaf'' and, over time, the phrase was shortened to fall. Surprisingly, etymologists don’t know where the word "autumn" comes from.
