April Colour Challenge!

Welcome to the Rubber Dance Monthly Art Stamping Challenge!

According to TS Eliot, April is the cruelest month. I am not entirely sure why (I did study his poetry at university but that's about a century ago!), but a little dose of crafting and the chance to win some lush stamps can only make it better, right? So here we go with another challenge for you.


Both our winner and Pick of the Month will get badges to proudly display on their blogs. Winners will be announced on our blog on the 7th of the following month, so remember to check back to see if you won! 

  • We'll draw an overall WINNER at random who receives an an amazing grab bag of unmounted Rubber Dance stamps worth 25 Euro! (that's over $30!)
  • The Design Team will choose our favourite entry - our DT Pick of the Month. 
  • Any entries using Rubber Dance stamps will get a special mention!
  • NEW: Afer you have linked up your work, you can email Bibi (stamplist@gmail.com) to get a discount code to use in the Rubber Dance Stamps webshop and get 20% off your entire order!

For April our colours are delicate, feminine and sophisticated
In addition to our colour scheme we also have an optional THEME: TEXTURE
(if you want to - add texture in any way you like - texturising products, embossing, layering, die cuts, 3D embellishment, fabric - anything goes.)

Please take a quick look at the guidelines below before you create. Don’t worry, there aren't many rules and they are not complicated.

Join our challenge!

Guidelines:
  • All entries need to include rubber stamping, but using stamps from Rubber Dance is not necessary.
  • You may use other colours in addition to our month's colour scheme, but our challenge colours must be the main ones.
  • Entry is via the linking tool only, to new work with a direct link to your entry post.
  • You may join our challenge with up to 10 separate entries, and combine our challenge with as many other challenges you like. Remember to add a link back to this challenge!
  • Please consider turning off word verification on your blog if you would like to receive comments from us.
  • Following our blog is optional, but very much appreciated :-)

We reserve the right to remove entries that don't meet these requirements.

    What a diversity of style shown by the DT! There is inspiration for everyone, but this palette is already enough for me, it's one of my favourite!

    CASology Challenge #213: Stitch - Card by Bibi

    The cue word at the CASology challenge this week is STITCH, so without further ado - here's my card: Stamps used (all from Rubber Dance): Giraffe , Mannequin from Sew Sweet ,  X stitches from Stitch & Frame . Stamped with Archival Ink (coffee), coloured in with Distress inks (tea dye and mermaid lagoon).     Blog Hoppin' Superpowers

    Rubber Dance has gained a following of stampers that love our Sarcasm Superpowers sentiment stamps. These aren't exactly our best seller stamps (not very surprisingly), but if you love them, you'll LOVE them! And this particular group of followers certainly do - not very surprisingly at all with a group name like theirs .... namely the  Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! (I know, right? Too darn cute!) These fine ladies have bullied me and some of my designers into a blog hop featuring our Sarcasm Superpower stamps. It didn't take much persuation, nor any bribes to speak of. Just mention  "challenge", and we'll be all over you like underfed fruitflies on a brown banana. And that's what the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers is all about - a challenge blog with new challenges every other week. Fasten your seat belts and enjoy the bumpy ride!
