Hi Rubber Dance friends!! Josi Tomàs is writing to show you a new tutorial step by step for how to make this beautiful and easy card with the lovely sketchy flower. ______________________________________________ STEP BY STEP 1. First apply acrylic paint with the help of a roller and in two colors over white cardboard or watercolor paper. I chose electric blue and lilac (also you can use white) and my card measures 4 1/2 by 5 inches. 2. I made embossing using shimmering translucent powders and my Distress Oxide ink. Did you know this? Distress ink and Oxide ink they are slow drying inks and used with translucent powders allow you to emboss in many colors. I have also used white powders to combine it. 3. To finish the background I chose the harlequin stamp which I stamped with Distress Oxide in violet and machines sewn the edges.   4. The decoration is very easy to make it. Hello Stampers, How is the start of the new season going? Priss ( @artful.layers ) here today, and I'd like to share with you this tag. I made it with the wonderful girl of the " Face up " set and colours combo of September's mood board.   First I cut a tag of mixed media paper and played around with my liquid watercolours in purple and green colours (I love them, cause they are so intense). Then I applied some white gesso in the  face area and stamped with black ink the biggest face of the set. I drew the neck and face with a black marker.  To further highlight the features of the face, I painted her eyes with a white gel pen and her lips with a purple marker. And then I drew some curly hairs around her face. Before continuing with the elements to decorate the rest of the tag, I distressed the edges of my tag with black ink and glued it on black cardstock.  Hi everyone. One of the good things to come out of the pandemic is the reinforcement of how so very special our friends are. So this card is for all our friends, near and far. Would you like to see how it was made? I have a step x step for you. And I made a little discovery that  uses masking (my favourite technique) but on a gel plate this time. The baby penguin, from Playful Penguins ,  is the first thing to be stamped. Mask off the baby penguin, stamp the mom, masking off again. Then stamp the moon from Celestial and the floating ice sheets from Playful Penguins . It's surprising how many stamps are in this set. I stamped the waves once, then masked the top of it so that I could add the seal. I wanted it to look like he is popping up out of the water to say hello. I've been playing with     Mixed media marks   Grungy Stuff   ,   Round in circles   and   Textured Mushrooms  to create a  colorful Atc´s , that I hope you like. Very easy to do, we started. We cut watercolor paper to a size of 2.5 x 3.5 inches, if you prefer to work in cm, 6.4x8.9. In my case, the paper is smooth and hot pressed, and I color the backgrounds with pigments. When the backgrounds dry (we can speed up the process with a heat gun) we will add texture and depth with different inks, in my case I have used  distress oxide.To start, I choose a stamp from the  Mixed media marks  , apply the inks, spray water, and stamp, (I'm not looking for definition, I'm looking for a watercolor effect, watery).
