Spread Love in the World Card by Dunja

Image
Hello everyone, in these crazy times, it's love and bright colors that we need, right? I was inspired to make today's card by the many rainbows on the windows of the houses, which are supposed to symbolize hope. Then there are whole blocks of houses singing together on the balcony as a thank you and to spread love. That is exactly what it is, to bring back the beautiful thoughts with music, to make the world colourful again. I hope that my card today will do that a little bit.  First I embossed the Music stamp on white cardstock. Afterwards I took my Distress Oxide Inks, blended in rainbow colors. Then I embossed the stamp Mix a Sentiment #1 white on black cardstock and cut out the matching words and stuck them on the card. I added some sequins in rainbowcolors too.  Whenever you have the chance to spread some love, make it colourful, do it! They'll thank you very much. Stay healthy and creative. Dunja xxx      ...

Christmas cards with 3 x embossing, video tutorial by Melina

Image
Hello! It´s Melina here today with a video tutorial to share. I made these four rather quick Christmas cards and I´m quite happy with the outcome - simple with a touch of gold. I used the Music and Whimsical Winter stamp sets for the background and  one of the trees from Four Seasons as focal image. The trees are stamped and cut out from a piece of Brusho coloured paper. Here is the video, hope you´ll enjoy! Thank you so much for stopping by today! Hope you´ll get a wonderful and creative weekend, hugs Melina Rubber Dance stamps used: Four Seasons Music Whimsical Winter

Tutorial Tuesday - A Mini Album by Sue

Image
Good morning and happy Tuesday, it's Sue here with my tutorial for my very easy to make mini album. Here's the front and here's the back.   I started by cutting the pages for my album. I've used the Eileen Hull passport die as I think this is a fab size. Plenty of room for your images but not so big as to be intimidating. I've used chipboard for my covers, and a mixture of black, white, and watercolour card for the pages.   I've used canvas for the binding as this is really tough and flexible. I've inked it up with Distress Inks just using the primary colours, that way where they meet they will make new colours and not mud. I know you probably know this but it took me years of mud before I really got it!   Just look at the size of this Music  stamp, it's a real whopper! I inked it up and laid my binding on top of it.   These were two practice pieces from a previous project. The stencilling was too intense for my card, but ...

Card with Totem Duck - Tutorial

Hi, it's Majo here from the Design Team.  I'd like to share with you a step-by-step tutorial for a card featuring the EyeConnect Crafts Totem Duck and Rubber Dance Stamps. I applied distress ink to the ducks and stamped with the Pines Fir Yew , I heat embossed with "sand" embossing powder and assembled them. I cut the birdcage, applied embossing distress ink with the burlap background stamp and embossed in Silver and Rust. I stamped the Music Notes with "Stormy Sky" Distress ink and the word with our new Alphabet Uno set and colored it with Koh-I-Noor pencils. After adhering the cage to the background, I added eyelets and feathers .... ..... and the cute birdies! This is my finished card, I had so much fun creating it. The stamps I used are: Alphabet Uno Pines Fir Yew   Music Notes Burlap Background Don't forget to use your 15% coupon with code *MAJO2016*   whe...
