Hi lovelies, Farida here It's time to create the next month in my bullet journal. This year I started to do it as simple and practical as needed. But nevertheless I have fun creating the month's page. So today.  I started with cutting down a piece of white paper to the size of a journal page. Next I used some ink pad colours. I thought about what colours match to the month of September and fall....and as it sometimes called 'golden September' I decided to have some darker colours on the background with a splash of gold or on this case yellow instead.  After putting down some colour onto the background I started stamping and gold embossing the lace doilies . I love how this page turned out. For the next step I glued my paper onto my bullet journal page and stamped some extra doilies on the opposite page to match.   Last but not least I added the month's name and the calender with a black pen and afterwards added some golden details with a golden acrylic pen....

                                                                        Hi everyone,    Mariken here, with a mini tutorial for you,  making these two pages in a tagbook.    I used Textured Sea Creatures Journal Words The backgrounds of the tagbook were already made.  I used my gelliplate and acrylic paints. I also used a little stamp on the background from the Textured Sea Cratures set.  I stamped the seahorses and shells using white embossingpowder.  Then I colored them, I cut ot the seahorses and shells  and glued them on the pages. Finally I used a sentiment from Journal Words.. A fun mixed media art journal page: a step-by step from me, Ellie Knol today.  Start by decoupaging a paper napkin to cardstock. It's more about the colors than the images ...  Sponge over a stencil with a terra red acrylic paint (Fresco Finish Brown Shed) as shown.   Use the same stencil and apply modeling paste here and there.  While the modeling paste is still wet, sprinkle a teal embossing ( Verdigris from Ranger) on a few of the numbers, here and there, and heat emboss it.  Now the numbers are in 3 different colors... a bit much,  .. so, apply white gesso with your fingers and knock down areas and in different directions. Create a 'Frame' by tearing the edges and sponging it with Cracked Pistachio Distress and Distress Oxide inks.  Stamp in the background with the  Grungy Swirls  stamp and  Old Book Page  script with a dark brown.  Stamp the butterflies on separate cardstock with a dark brown stamping ink, fussycut th...

Hi! It´s Melina here today, and I´ve been playing with the awesome new stamp set Journal Notes along with the In The Air and Things With Wings stamp sets. Recently I was very lucky to find notebooks from IKEA on sale.  I bought 5 of them (blank pages) with the idea of starting to make my  own planner journals. No, I´m not a planner girl,  but I can become one right!? :) Here´s the first spread I made. On this spread I stamped the "lined box" directly into my book to create a square for each day of the week. I then decorated the page using the  balloon from the In The Air stamp set. Here´s my second spread. On this spread I stared to apply Archival Inks. I then used the small stamps from the Journal Notes stamp set to create patterns and interest to the background.
