Little Halloween gift by Farida

Image
Hello lovelies, do you celebrate Halloween? I normally don't really celebrate it.....but my daughter just loves it. So why don't create a cute little Halloween sweets gift for her.  I used this cute little ghost from the  Little Witch stamp set  and gave him this huge hat.  For colouring the images and the background matting I used some Watercolour brush pens.  The matching sentiment is from the additional sentiment  Boo to you / Verhexte Grüße . This little gift box came together pretty easy and fast.....so I think there will be a couple more to follow.....so friends can have one too :) Thank you for stopping by....have a boo-tiful day. Farida

Little Witch Card

Image
Hello and welcome to today's inspiration Monday. How is everyone? I enjoy and have a lot of fun creating cards, and if it's Halloween-themed, even more. I hope you like it.  I have been playing with Rubber Dance's   Mixed media marks ,  Grungy Sequins  ,  Boo to You    and   Little Witch . To begin with, I have cut a circle with scalloped edges in watercolor paper. I add color like a watercolor with the pigments. When I get the desired shades I let it dry or I help myself with a heat gun.I add stamps and embossing in white to the background One of the most fun parts of the creative process for me is coloring and cutting. This time I have colored with watercolor pencils. Now it's time to arrange the elements to finish the composition. Here are several photos of the project so you can appreciate the details. Here are the  Rubber Dance Stamps I used: Mixed media marks   Little Witch . Boo to You Grungy Sequins I hope you enjoyed and d...

Ghostly Goings On by Gail

Image
Hello Rubber Dance friends.  Gail here today.  October is my favourite month of the year.  Crisp mornings, crisp leaves, hot autumn colours and the best excuse all year to get your Boo! on!!!  I was so excited when Rubber Dance stamps released the Little Witch stamp set .  So many fun stamps and I can see them becoming a firm favourite, whatever the season.  I've combined some of these stamps with a few others from other sets to make a little Halloween scene.       I've been tidying my crafty space and I am trying to use up some unfinished objects (UFO's) and scraps.  I found this folded designer card that I had stamped the branch from Mama Owl on and thought it would work for my spooky scene.  I coloured the branch with distress markers.  I hunted for a circle in my pre-cuts box and found this embossed spiral which I decided would work.  I stamped the middle owl from Owl Do Good on white card, coloured with Promar...

Halloween tag with Textured Mushrooms

Image
Hi there,  its Astrid again, with a Halloween tag, to show you everything is possible for Halloween with the right colours. I used a normal tag and glued some paper on it, then I put Distress Oxide Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin and Vintage Photo on it, and the edges with Walnut Stain. The Ruler is paper from Tim Holtz. And the bone hand too. I used the Textured Mushrooms stamp set. The leaves dies is from my stash. The poison, warning and the spider are from internet. I hope you like it. Astrid

Spooky Halloween Tag by Evelyn

Image
Hello lovely Rubber Dancer, it´s Evelyn today! I admit, I am not a Halloween lover, but sometimes I like to make something a bit spooky and dark. So I made a tag in classic Halloween colors with some gold and silver. I used a tag from a packaging, gessoed it and put a generous amount of crackle paint on top. When dry, I painted the surface with orange acrylic paint, added a coat of weathered wood crackle glaze and dryed it. On top of this I painted different acrylic paints (purple, orange, umbra, black, ultramarine blue) and for a little drama with gold acrylic paint. Well, the crackling didn´t work that good this time, but I guess, the reason is, that I was too impatient. Now I stamped on the background in brown and black with the following stamp sets: Grungy boarders Grungy stuff  and Twiggy Leaves and with grey ink  Mix a Sentiment The vocal image, the raven from the stamp set Nesting , I stamped on tissue paper, tore it out and glued it with m...

A non scary Halloween card by Donna Gray

Image
Hi everyone, It's Donna here today with a non scary Halloween card for those of you that like something a little bit spooky but not too much! This really is a very simple card to make but I think looks effective. On black card I used a Memento white ink to stamp the yummy tree from  Carved Whimsy Wood  twice to provide a backdrop to the houses. The houses are from the wonderful  Textured Houses  set which I stamped onto white card and coloured in with a selection of Halloween colours using my Zig Clean Colour pens. I fussy cut them out and mounted them onto the background using little foam pads. The spooky moon was just a scrap of Gelli printed paper I had in my stash that I cut a circle from. That was added to the background, behind the houses, with foam pads too. The finishing touch was to add a sticker sentiment from Tim Holtz that I think fitted the card perfectly. I then added everything to a 5x7 white card stock. There you have a Halloween...
