 Hello lovlies, so happy to welcome you on the blog again. Hope you are doing well? This time I got a video for you again, showing how I assambled this card.  I prepared a piece of vellum, that is slightly smaller than my card base, by stamping several mandalas from the Mandalas Stamp set .  And the sentiment from the Affirmations set were stamped on some white cardstock.  Before the card is ready to be assambled I had so stamp and colour the Garden Cat by using my watercolours.  And here is my Reel on how I assabled the card. Hello Rubber Dance friends.   Gail here today with a card I made for friend as a part of the June Card Chain Challenge.  The Card Chain Challenge is an international card exchange.  Every month an ever changing group of very talented ladies, and the occasional bloke, make a card, send a card and receive a card.  Everyone gets a card, everyone wins.  I have been a regular player and administrator for many years.  This is the card I sent to Hilary in the UK. I started by stamping the cat on some white card and masking.  Then I stamped the pebble stamp from Mixed Media Marks #3 with Bluebird archival ink.  I stamped the curved ladder stamp from Pencil Marks #5 with Dandelion archival above the pebbles.  I actually stamped it three times, but didn't like that I didn't line it up so there were no gaps, so I decided to fussy cut the top of the first ladder and round the cat's head.  The cut offs didn't go to waste cos I used them for ...

Hello lovelies, it's wonderful to welcome you again. Today I made a card using some flowers and making a compliment to the recipient of this card. As I wanted to create a positive and vibrant card, I used yellow as my main popping colour in the cards background. This big yellow blop has been made using alcohol ink.  After letting it dry completely I used some stamps from the mixed media marks #1 stamp set with a yellow ink pad for some tone in Tone visuell interest in the back.  For the focal point of this card I decided to take some flowers. I feel like flowers always a good idea to use along with a friendly card. For this one I choosed to take the ones out of the Garden Cats Stamp set .  This time I used a noline ink pad and coloured in th flowers with my all time favourite colour medium - the alcohol markers.  For glueing them on the card I used some foam tape to get some more depth.  To mat the words (Mix a sentiment stamp set) ...

 Hello lovlies, I am happy to be here again with a new art journal page, again with a cat theme....I just can't get my hands off this cute stamp set . Just loooove cats. I have this little mini art journal where I sometimes prepare pages. So if I have some intresting scraps or letovers I do prepare some pages, like  I have done this double page in the past.  So my next step is to bring in some colours. Here I used some greens from my Oxide Ink pad and from a watercolour pen.  While the background is drying I took out a scrap piese of paper, to use up the rest colour taht was left. And also added the Burlap stamp on it.  Next I stamped, coloured and fuzzy cutted the sitting cat. As I didn't leave a white border around it, I stamped the cat on the burlap-piece of paper, so it gets back all its whiskers.  To get my art journal page together I glued down the "burlap-piece" and the cat. To give the cat a ground to sit on, I used some washi-tape stripes.  F...
