 Hi arty friends, Angie here with a paper silhouette for you. I've always been fascinated with these since I was a child and decided to create one with our lovely Carved Collection and Pencil Marks stamps - these are brilliant for paper cutting because of the simple designs. First I stamped the images on white mixed media paper. I cut out the smallest pieces with a craft knife before cutting the individual flowers and leaves with scissors - that way there is less risk of tearing the paper. For the background I chose an A5 piece of black card, which I splattered with a little bit of watered down white paint. Next I glued my cut out flowers and leaves onto the black card and used a silver gel pen to draw a single line around the edge just to frame the whole thing. Simple but effective I think?  Hello arty friends, Angie here with a page in my art journal. Recently I have seen someone keeping a scrap diary, meaning they collect bits and pieces from their desk, for example their underpaper or mop up pages, choosing the most interesting sections and cutting them into equal sized pieces, then gluing them onto a page for every month. Over time this provides a kind of record of the type of art you've been creating. I picked the pieces below to start with, about 3 of each colour. I worked out how many pieces would fit on my double page and chose the 12 I liked the most. I used the Carved Collection #1 and Pencil Marks #1 stamp sets to stamp on the squares, using black Archival Ink. Next I roughly sorted the squares into rainbow colours (one of my go-to's when I can't decide which order to put things in, haha), then glued them onto my journal pages. Finally I roughly outlined all of the squares with a black fineliner. I quite like this simple geometric design! Until next...

 Hi arty friends, How are you? Angie here with a quick tag for you, I hope you like it. I started by doing some clear embossing on a white tag. Next I added some blue shades of Distress Oxide to the tag. I stamped the face directly onto the tag and added  the numbers around the edge. Next I stamped some marks with Distress Oxide inks. As usual, I then got carried away with mark making, doodling, and a quote - and forgot to take photos! So here is the final result.  Hello arty friends, how are you? I've been very much inspired by all the collage fodder posts popping up on Instagram lately so I thought I would have a go at making some. Collage fodder really just means ready made embellishment pieces to use in your art. It's also great for using up all the bits and pieces we have laying around! I started off by white embossing on a piece of watercolour paper using a variety of background stamps. I cut this paper into different sized tags and then used watercolours to create simple backgrounds. As you can see, the white embossing creates a lovely resist. I then used leftover bits and pieces from previous projects to add interest. Next I added some background stamping, this time using black ink. and finally, some focal images.  These little pieces of art are really useful when you're art journaling, junk journaling, need to make a quick card or a tag. You can always add some writing, a quote, some doodling - whatever you feel like or need...

Hello Stampers, Samantha here today and I'd like to share with you this Spring/Easter Bunny Wreath. I had lots of bits of white card sitting on my window ledge and thought I would put them to good use, even the circular base is just white card so it's a nice easy project to do, especially if you have children home with you. There's quite a lot of fussy cutting but I think it's worth it and I couldn't resist adding a cute Easter Bunny, he's sniffing the pink flower and dreaming of chocolate Easter eggs.
