Arty Hearty Tags with Inky Friends by Toni

Image
Hey everyone, Toni here.  Today I've got not one but two tags!  I mean why not when you have some oxide ink left over?  I call it the mop up tag....... Firstly I used some Oxide Ink in Weathered Wood, Tattered Rose & Black Soot  I wanted a watercolour effect Then I did some stencilling and stamping using Mixed Media Marks & Mix a Sentiment #1 as background stamps  I used my sewing machine to add more texture round the edge of the tags. I'm loving this affect at the moment! The I stamped two hearts using Arty Hearty , placed the smaller heart inside the larger one and adhered the butterflies from the Inky Friends stamp set  I used the inks to paint and add some detail then I stamped over the top with Mix a Sentiment #1 .  I also used some embossing glaze on the wings  And finally added a sentiment from the Mix a Sentiment #1 stamp set  Thank you for joining me I hope you have a fabulous week  I have made a quick time laps...

Spread Love in the World Card by Dunja

Image
Hello everyone, in these crazy times, it's love and bright colors that we need, right? I was inspired to make today's card by the many rainbows on the windows of the houses, which are supposed to symbolize hope. Then there are whole blocks of houses singing together on the balcony as a thank you and to spread love. That is exactly what it is, to bring back the beautiful thoughts with music, to make the world colourful again. I hope that my card today will do that a little bit.  First I embossed the Music stamp on white cardstock. Afterwards I took my Distress Oxide Inks, blended in rainbow colors. Then I embossed the stamp Mix a Sentiment #1 white on black cardstock and cut out the matching words and stuck them on the card. I added some sequins in rainbowcolors too.  Whenever you have the chance to spread some love, make it colourful, do it! They'll thank you very much. Stay healthy and creative. Dunja xxx      ...
