 Hi everyone, I hope is all well in your part of the world. Today I've had a bit of fun with the Textured Birds stamp set by making a bird card. This is a one-layer card with lots of masking involved (still my favourite thing to do). Here is how this card was made. Firstly, I made some masks of the birds and letters that I'll be using. Photo copy paper is handy for this as it is thin. Simply stamp your images and then cut them out. It works beautifully when you cut to the inside of the stamped image. I made a quick template of the idea that was in my head. To see if it would work! I didn't use the smaller birds in the final make. Now I am ready to repeat it onto my cardstock. Start by stamping the image that is going to be the front image. At this stage I've masked the 'front' bird and then stamped the  letters from Alphabet Uno.  Hello everyone.   Gee, isn't Christmas coming around quickly? Are you starting to get ready for it yet? Today I've a card to share with you that is quick and easy to make   using the new Textured Christmas Trees . I like to keep Christmas cards pretty simple. The thought of showering the tree with falling stars came to mind for this card. The falling star is a great addition to the  Textured Christmas Trees set of stamps. The background is simply blending inks. To me this is a very relaxing thing to do. There has been a halo left around the Christmas tree so that it stands out a little more. There are many different trees to choose from in this set. This tree was just right for the space that I wanted it to go into. It was a little like choosing a tree for your home. I've coloured the tree and stars with markers and added a little shading with pencils to give it more of a rounded shape. I've used the letters from Alphabet Uno to make the sentiment.  Hello everyone, welcome to a fun tutorial today. This is the first time that I've used this bird from Textured Birds and thought that he would look great among some of the new Rubber Dance Inky Flowers. I have a video on YouTube showing how the background was made which you can find it here . This is the finished result of playing with paint and stencils. The little cutie from Textured Birds has been coloured with watercolour paints and cut out. These flowers are from Inky Flowers have been  stamped onto white card and cut out. On the background I've stamped some words from Old Book Page and added some circles through a stencil. The bird has been stamped where I wanted him to go. It saves me having to cut around his legs. It's a little short cut that saves a lot of fussy cutting stress. A little blue watercolour paint has been added to the circles. Splatters of watercolour paint were flicked across the card. Hi everyone! It's Susanne writing today. I used Distress Inks together with some of our Crazy Flowers to create the page in this art journal. It's a watercolor journal from Kunst & Papier, it's one of my favourites to use with Ink and watercolors. I didn't use any gesso to prime my page. The flowers are embossed with white powder on watercolor paper. I coloured them in in complementary colours, by dipping them into the Distress Inks, to let them pop from the background.
