February Challenge!


All you need is love (and a few rubber stamps), and February is THE month of love and romance, with Valentine's Day being celebrated in many parts of the world. Perhaps you celebrate that day by sending sweet cards to your friends, or maybe you think it's a bunch of BS .....now hold on a sec, 'cause we here at Rubber Dance want to celebrate it with YOU! So let's see some sweet lovin' in your challenge entries this month, or interpret our optional theme as you wish!



We want you to use ALL three colours,
and you may add additonal ones as long as our three are the main ones.

 We have made a couple of changes to the challenge rules

You must use stamping, but you do not have to use stamps from Rubber Dance in order to participate. The challenge runs till Feb. 29th. Leap year, remember?


Our randomly chosen WINNER receives a voucher worth 20 Euros

NEW! The DT's Pick of the Month will be an entry where stamps from Rubber Dance have been used. No prize other than fame and glory - and of course a bragging badge to display on your blog's sidebar if you like (and we're sure you do!)

    CASology Challenge #213: Stitch - Card by Bibi

    The cue word at the CASology challenge this week is STITCH, so without further ado - here's my card: Stamps used (all from Rubber Dance): Giraffe , Mannequin from Sew Sweet ,  X stitches from Stitch & Frame . Stamped with Archival Ink (coffee), coloured in with Distress inks (tea dye and mermaid lagoon). After all, fall/autumn is all around us (here in the north, anyway), and we do love its glorious colours! We hope you do, too, when you create an entry (or three) for our October Challenge: Did you know that "fall" is an Old English word? It replaced the word 'harvest' in the early 1600s as more people started moving into cities. City dwellers began to use the phrase 'fall of the leaf'' and, over time, the phrase was shortened to fall. Surprisingly, etymologists don’t know where the word "autumn" comes from. It was used as far back at the 1300s (by Chaucer), and Shakespeare often used the word, too. As English spread to the New World, the common season names split as well and today, American English uses the word fall while British English
