New Stamps & Giveaway Winners!


Helloooo, fans of Rubber Dance! It's Bibi here and I have some great news to share with you today - THREE new sets of rubber stamps! 

Oh, boy - these are simply awesome! Of course I can brag about my own stamps because..... just because I love them! Besides, all three new stamp sets were designed by other people than myself, so I'm bragging about the designers while I'm at it :-)

Christmas is just around the corner (haha, just kidding!), so first I want to show you these two amazing sets with stamps made from drawings by Susanne on the DT. The details are superb and they stamp beautifully!

The actual size of the stamp sheets is 13 x 18 cm (5 x 7 inches).

Thank YOU, Susanne! You can be very proud of these, that's for sure! I remember the feeling I had when I held my own stamps in my hands for the very first time ... it's an amazing feeling, isn't it?
I hope you will continue to draw for me. I absolutely LOVE your drawings and making stamps out of such detailed designs was a fun challenge that I'd love to do again, and again, and again .... ;-)

CASology Challenge #213: Stitch - Card by Bibi

The cue word at the CASology challenge this week is STITCH, so without further ado - here's my card: Stamps used (all from Rubber Dance): Giraffe , Mannequin from Sew Sweet ,  X stitches from Stitch & Frame . Stamped with Archival Ink (coffee), coloured in with Distress inks (tea dye and mermaid lagoon). After all, fall/autumn is all around us (here in the north, anyway), and we do love its glorious colours! We hope you do, too, when you create an entry (or three) for our October Challenge: Did you know that "fall" is an Old English word? It replaced the word 'harvest' in the early 1600s as more people started moving into cities. City dwellers began to use the phrase 'fall of the leaf'' and, over time, the phrase was shortened to fall. Surprisingly, etymologists don’t know where the word "autumn" comes from. It was used as far back at the 1300s (by Chaucer), and Shakespeare often used the word, too. As English spread to the New World, the common season names split as well and today, American English uses the word fall while British English
