I'm working on the layout and images and such, but I will come back with a REAL post soon ....

Bibi here today with a fun project, using the Totem Monarch Poppet chipboard from EyeConnect Crafts . I had such a blast with this and I hope what I've made will inspire you to make something similar. The difference between the chipboards from EyeConnect Crafts and others ones I've seen out there, is that they are made to connect (hence the name). There are two categories, one called Lace-Ups which you bind together using ribbons, string, lace, etcetera and another category of chipboards with smaller holes so you can connect the pieces using tiny eyelets or brads. This is what it looks like. The pieces are laser cut, and you easily remove them from the base - save that part and use it as a stencil for another project. Hi, folks! Bibi here with a fun hands-on project! I was flipping through some old stamp magazines the other day when I saw a card in the shape of a hand. It was made from a template, but hey - who needs a template when you already have one at hand? I traced my hand on a piece of cardstock, cut it out and used that template to make three more hands. If you trace your own hand four times, chances are the cardstock hands won't look exactly the same - but maybe that's what you want. All the hands were cut out of white cardstock. I smooshed some Distress ink using foam applicators to color the hands, then lightly misted them with water for the speckle effect I like so much. I also used the Face-lifting technique to highlight some areas. The hands were bound together using eyelets and a string of cotton lace that I dyed with Distress inks. Happiness is... Stencils and Stamps

Hello, everyone! Here's a festive card by Irit on our Design Team: Irit posted this card on her blog the other day, and we agreed that I could show it here as well. Here's how she made it: 1) Punch a circle mask and place it in the centre of a panel of white cardstock. This is where the sentiment will go (see step 6) 2) Use a stencil and add texture paste, peel stencil off, remove mask. 3) Sprinkle a mix of red, yellow and sparkle embossing powders over the wet masked texture and heat emboss it. 4) Punch a new cirle, stamp the sentiment and heat emboss with black emossing powder. 5) Make a mask over the stamped sentiment, then stamp the background text and heat emboss it with red powder. Remove mask. 6) Glue the circle with sentiment over your stencilled panel, which is adhered on a second yellow panel of cardstock, then onto a  white base. 7) A dd some rhinestones randomly, and your card is done: Both stamps are from Rubber Dance : "Happiness is"...
