A grey hare birthday card

Hello and welcome, Anita from the Design Team here today to show you a birthday card. Birthday card!!?? Yep, I have made a birthday card with this ADORABLE new hare stamp.

Those who know me know that I'm not a typical card maker so I had to have a little humorous touch on it, so here is my version of the hare stamp, hope you like it!

It was very easy to make it. I used only a little white cardboard some black cardboard, embossing folder and Distress Oxide, as well as a paper doll from Tim Holtz and of course stamps from Rubber Dance.

I started by embossing white cardstock and colored it with Distress Oxide. I tore the edges to soften it slightly to coorporate with the white cardboard back. I glued it down on the white cardstock with double sided tape.

On the back of the card I glued white cardstock on the black one and then stamped "If age is just a number...how come you look so OLD" with black Archival Ink and "Happy Birthday" with grey Arhival ink.

I chopped the head of this little man

And stamped the hare head on tissue paper, tore it out and glued it to the top of the body

I also stamped the carot on tissue paper and glue it down in this hare mans hand.

Thank you for visiting. Please join the Rubber Dance Challenge this month, there is still a few days left.

Hugs, Anita

Thanks for sharing, Anita! I know you're usually not a card maker, but you certainly have knack for it! ♥ ♥ ♥
Let's hear it from our blog readers - do you want to see more cards from Anita, or should she stick to her colourful art journal pages?
