Birthday Bunny by Samantha Read

Image
Hello, Samantha here today and I'm sharing a quick birthday card featuring this super cute bunny. It was super easy to make creating the back ground using grey distress inks and stamps then adding those pops of colour with stamped images coloured using watercolours and adhered in place. Here's the stamps I used; Bonny Bunny What a Girl Wants Doodle Flowers Mixed Media Marks I do hope you like my card, for lots more inspiration please join us on Facebook in the Rubber Dance Stamping Lounge, which you can find right here . Thanks so much for looking and I wish you a lovely day, Sam :)

Is it Spring yet? by Samantha Read

Image
Hello Rubber Dancers, have you seen any Spring flowers yet? So far I've seen snowdrops, aconites and daffodils. The days are getting longer and the birds are singing more, in a few months there will be little baby rabbits running around the fields, which always makes me smile. All the thoughts of Spring inspired this postcard. I began by creating the background using distress inks, the method where you wipe the inkpad on your sheet, spritz with water and then place your paper/postcard in the wet ink achieving a watercolour like effect. I then stamped some details using the fabulous, ever useful, space filling Weed love set. The rabbit and flowers were stamped on white card and coloured using watercolours before being glued in place. I finished my postcard by stamping the word Spring and some hearts, just for a little more detail. I do hope you like it, thanks so much for looking. Wishing you a lovely day, Sam :) The stamps I used are: Bonny Bunny Weed Love and Textured Spring

Hoppy Birthday

Hi Everyone, Cornelia here today. I am having so much fun playing around with my new Rubber Dance stamps! My stamp supplies: Bonny Bunny I stamped the bunny on Kraft card stock. Added the carrots with a bit of masking and colored with Inktense pencils. For the white I used white acrylic paint. Stamped the sentiment. Stamped the small carrots on scrap paper, colored them and added them to the card with some foam tape and added Nymo thread. That rabbit would also be perfect for Easter cards. Hope you like this. Don't forget our challenge is still going for a few more days, until the end of the month. Play along, if you find time! It runs all month long over in the  Facebook Rubber Dance Stamping Lounge  and its  those three colors you see below or anything goes with Rubber Dance stamps. Happy Rubber Dancing!

Zendoodled Bunny by Donna Gray

Image
Hi everyone, It's Donna here today and I have long admired the absolute stunning artwork by my fab teamie Melina, especially her Zendoodled creations so I got to thinking if I could do that too. As I was thinking this the  Bonny Bunny  stamp set caught my eye and got me thinking....what if..... The  Bonny Bunny  stamp is ideal to try as it's quite an 'open' stamp so plenty of room to practice your doodling on. I stamped with black Archival ink on some thick card. I used a black fine liner pen for this, make sure the nib is as fine as you can get although you can doodle with varying nibs but for the finer stuff this is more controllable I found. So here I started the doodling, I had no plan in my mind, just doodled whatever patterns came into my head. Some more doodling....such fun!! You can see how the empty spaces are getting nicely filled up now. Nearly finished, just a few more doodles to do now..... Once I ...

Greeting Card with Distress Inks by Susanne

Image
Hi my dear stamping friends! I'm sharing a easy to make greeting card today that I've made with Distress Inks and the lovely Twiggy Leaves stamps from Rubber Dance. I applied the Distress Inks to a piece of mixed media cardstock with the round blending tool. I picked some autumn colours (Picked Raspberry, Dusty Concord and Spiced Marmalade). I sprinkled the background with some water droplets. The ink is reactivated by the water, and after 20 seconds I soak up the water with a dry cloth.  I stamped some of the leaves with Memento Dye Inks in different colours. I cut the card at an angle and placed it on the card base to measure where my greeting was going. After I stamped the "Happy Birthday" from the Bonny Bunny stamp set onto the card base and used 3D foam dots to adhere my Distressed leaf design.  I hope you like my card! Have a wonderful and crafty weekend! Susanne Supplies: Rubber Dance: ...
