Image
Hello! Mariken here, with a tutorial for you, making these two cards. For these cards I used:   Carved Collection #5 clear, Mixed Media Marks #1 and Greetings .      As you can see, I made a backround wit the stamps  from Carved Collection #5 and Mixed Media Marks #1 using Distress Oxide and Versafine Claire.  Of course you can use any stamp ink.                      After that I stamped some flowers with black ink and glued them on the cards.                      ...

Be Awesome Today by Lisa

Image
Hi everyone!  I'm Lisa and I welcome you to my new art journal inspiration. Today I played with Textured Flowers Clear stamps and Mixed Media Marks #1 Clear stamps. First I used the grid on my watercolor paper with white embossing powder and then I added some watercolors to the background. I made some marks with archival inks. Then I added some flowers from Textured Flowers Clear stamps set and a sticker with a sentiment. For the final touch I made some splatters with teal liquid paint for a little contrast. I used these products from the shop: https://www.rubberdance.de/clear-stamps/mixed-media-marks-1-clear-0001/#cc-m-product-14534935433 https://www.rubberdance.de/clear-stamps/textured-flowers-2022-clear-0014/#cc-m-product-14541097633 I hope you enjoyed my new art journal page for you today! Hugs, Lisa

Wild Flowers Postcard by Ellie Knol

Image
Hi, Ellie with you today..  Color is everywhere out in nature; a lot of rain turned it to a full spring of growth and color.  Collaging elements is a technique I love, and it never bores.  Creating the background first and then add the fussycut element, the flower.  I've colored the flower a while ago when cleaning my watercolor pallette. Nothing goes to waste this way.  I hope you find some inspiration in my creation of today!  Have a good weekend!  Rubber Dance Stamps: The Rubber Dance Webshop Flowers Gone Wild Art Defined Mixed Media Marks Vintage P:ostcard

Atc´s of colorful leaves

Image
Hi, I'm Vero (@ Vero.kt) and I welcome you to today's inspiration. How's everybody ?                            I've been playing with   Mixed media marks 1 ,  Mixed media marks 3   and   Sketchy Leaves   to  create a  colorful Atc´s that I hope you like . Very easy to do, we started. We cut watercolor paper to a size of 2.5 x 3.5 inches, if you prefer to work in cm, 6.4x8.9. In my case, the paper is smooth and hot pressed, and I color the backgrounds with pigments. When the backgrounds dry (we can speed up the process with a heat gun) we will add texture and depth with different inks, in my case I have used distress oxide. To start, I choose a stamp from the  Mixed media marks  , apply the inks, spray water, and stamp, (I'm not looking for definition, I'm looking for a watercolor effect, watery).Help myself with the dryer and go back to stamp with different i...

Sketchy Bird Among the Flowers by Dot Leathbridge

Image
Hi everyone, It's Dot here today with a card to share with you. This one uses Sketchy Birds, Mixed Media Marks 1, Sketchy Leaves and Inky Flowers. The new Sketchy Leaves set has been catching my eye for some time. I really love all the new leaves in this set. It was ideal to pop behind the Inky Flowers  stamps. My biggest conundrum was what words to use! Then I saw these scribble words from  Mixed Media Marks #1. The say something, but because they are scribbly words they are near impossible to read lol. Love it! Here is a closer look at the bird. Each month I have a craft-along session in a  facebook group where I craft in real time, and you can join in with me. If you would like to join me for this card it is happening on the 2nd of June at 10 am (AEST - Melbourne time) The group is called Creative Cardmaking . If you can't make it on the day, the video stays up for 30 days so there is plenty of time for you to gather your supplies and stamps and join in with me....
