Mail Art Envelope by Angie Coomber

Image
Hi arty friends, it's me again! I have a quick mail art envelope for you today.  I had some watercolours to use up and decided to decorate a few envelopes. I love spending time painting simple leave shapes (very calming and relaxing) so that's the first thing I did. Once the leaves were dry I sketched over them with a fine black pen, then added some neon pink splatter. I n the spirit of using up things on my desk I stamped some of the Inky Friends on a few Gelli print scraps. For this I used embossing ink and black embossing powder. I cut out the butterflies and decoreated them with a gold gel pen. Finally I glued the butterflies around the edge of the envelope, leaving space for an address, and added a doodle border around the outside. Oh - and a little word sticker. Hope you like it! Hugs from Angie x Stamps used: Inky Friends

A simple Flower Card by Angie Coomber

Hello! Angie here. Today I have a very simple flower card and matching envelope for you. I used a square, cream card and envelope for this. First I used the Mix A Sentiment #2 stamp to create a background on the front of the card. I stamped flowers &leaves onto painted card and then cut them out. I arranged some of them on the card, leaving some space for a quote. I also arranged some more on the envelope, again, leaving space to write an address. When I was happy with the design I glued everything down and added the quote. Who doesn't love some happy mail! Stamps used: Mix A Sentiment #2 Loose Florals #2

Hi Folks! Good to see you here on the blog. I haven't done any Mail Art for awhile, so I thought it was about time to start this fun again. I used a variety of stamps for my envelope.  I started by stamping the "address label" and covered this with a piece of scrap paper. I stamped my main image, the gorgeous giraffe, and masked it with drawing gum. When I finished coloring the envelope with Distress Oxides I stamped different stars on top and the grunge circles on the bottom. The sentiment leaves me enough room to add an address when I send this Mail Art out. I hope you also enjoy making Mail Art every once in a while to send out your letters. I have used the following stamps: Grungy Borders Grungy Stuff Giraffe Sentiment Stars from the set Textured Flowers Stars from the set Textured Feathers  Have a good week and Happy Crafting ♥

Hi there! Today it's my turn for another CASual Friday post. I picked the "Whimsical Summer" stamp set this time to create a really easy and cute postcard. I stamped the cute birdie randomly onto 300gsm watercolour paper. I filled the gaps inbetween with the little flowers that come with the set. I coloured everything with watercolour pencils. Finally I added the sentiment with embossing powder. I used the postcard stamp from the "Mail Art" stamp set to decorate the backside. Thank you for stopping by today! xx Susanne Supplies: Rubber Dance Stamps: Whimsical Summer Mail Art Others: Watercolour Pencils Embossing Powder Archival Ink VersaMark Ink

Wise Giraffe ATC's

Hello.  Gail from the design team here today with some inspiration for the current Rubber Dance colour challenge , Magenta, Yellow and Turquoise.  I decided to use one of my favourite Rubber Dance stamps, Giraffe , and play with some words.   I've used a Stamplorations stencil and Dreamweavers yellow embossing paste for the background, with Rubber Dance stamps Giraffe , and words from Mail Art and Sarcastic Superpower. I stamped and embossed the giraffe and words on self adhesive paper and fussy cut.  I added a black mat behind the words.   I decapitated the giraffe, ouch! so I could add her head at a different angle.  Hmmmmm, she knows!!  You know!!   Again I added the head at a different angle with words from Sarcastic Superpower.    Hope you enjoyed my little trio of giraffe wisdom.   Here's the challenge colour board I hope you get time to create and join the fun.  Re...
