Bunny and Blossom by Samantha Read

Hello Stampers, Samantha here today and I'd like to share with you this Spring/Easter Bunny Wreath. I had lots of bits of white card sitting on my window ledge and thought I would put them to good use, even the circular base is just white card so it's a nice easy project to do, especially if you have children home with you. There's quite a lot of fussy cutting but I think it's worth it and I couldn't resist adding a cute Easter Bunny, he's sniffing the pink flower and dreaming of chocolate Easter eggs. Finishing touches were white highlights and some Stickles glitter glue. I do hope you like it, thanks for looking. If you would like to join us in our Facebook group you can find us here . The stamps I used are: Carved Collection 2 Carved Collection 1  and Loose Florals 1 Wishing you a lovely day, Sam :)

Hello, Samantha here today and I'm sharing with you how I made three really quick Christmas cards.  I used the fabulous Textured Christmas Trees, they're so fun and look great using traditional Christmas colours or bright and funky colours like I have used. I've recently discovered gilding flakes and just about every thing I make has some silver or gold on it, they really do add the perfect bling! My little Christmas cards are 9 cm squared and using a Sizzix die they have a faux postage effect. Cut these first so you know what size to cut your background pieces. I used distress inks for all my colours for these cards, This is my background, I swished my card in some spritzed ink, I love the random/watercolour effect using this method. Stamp and cut three trees, I clear embossed to get a nice, crisp image I can add water to. Using the same method as the background I coloured my trees. Using the small hearts stamp and the same colour I added a little detail to the background....

Hello, Samantha here today and I'd love to share with you a page I made for my art journal.  I've been creating pages for my journal since December last year and have decided not to journal on my pages until all the pages are made. I'm loving the white space on this page. The background was created by stamping directly on my page with distress inks, the bird was stamped on white card and coloured using watercolour paints. I've used just three colours as this helps to keep a coordinated look and I used a Sizzix die for my bird to sit on after creating my pretty background. I finished by adding some arty 'splats'. I do hope you like it, thanks for looking and I wish you a lovely day,  Sam x The stamps I used are as follows; Bold and Beautiful Textured Birds and Weed Love
