Cozy Christmas Gift Tags with Dunja

Image
hello dear Rubber Dance friends, it's one day before Christmas Eve, time has flown and now it's almost done and we should arrive at the quiet time. Sometimes it doesn't feel like Christmas or Christmas a joy to look forward to. Especially at this time, it's difficult, nothing is the same.... Let me say, if you are creative, you can forget a little bit about the surroundings, be colourful, it's good for you.  ♥ Here are three last minute gift tags for you. They were made almost only from leftovers. As you can see I used gel prints, I cut gift tags from them and made the top with a punch. Then I used a stencil, embossing paste and various gold-coloured embossing powders to create the background on the tag.   Next I embossed the poinsettia flowers on Vellum in white. I then also embossed the flowers on Gelliprints using white Embossing Powders. Then I cut everything out with the scissors and glued them together Then I placed the petals on top of the tags and...

Mixed Media Christmas TAGs - Imagine

Image
Yes, it is Saturday noon, ...weekend :)) and I hope you are all well, are you healthy? I'm sure you have already started the Christmas card production?  Today I have three gift tags for you. Quick and easy, sometimes you need them at the last minute, right? I punched the layer from my gelliprints, the base is white cardstock. I stamped several packages on the cut outs and did some heatembossing with a WOW! Gold Embossing Poweder. For the flowers I used leftovers.  The green one I cut out, it was a rest of green Watercolor paper, which I colored with magicals and glitter.  The flowers I cut out of gel prints as well. Everything is hot embossed. The texts are also embossed and from the two favorite stamp sets of Mix a Sentiment #1 and #2 Be sure to check out the Rubber Dance Lounge , there are so many inspirations and a monthly challenge :) Enjoy the weekend and stay healthy and creative.  Dunja

Christmas Night - Tag Tutorial by Susanne

Image
Hi everyone! It's Susanne writing today and I'm sharing a step by step tutorial for this Christmas Night tag. I used Brushos, different stamps from the Textured Series and a sentiment from the Christmas Cheers and Gift Tags. I started with a dark blue and a bright orange Brusho background. I sprinkled white liquid watercolor all over the tag after I've colored the edges black. I believe I used a black Pitt Artist Pen. After everything was bone dry, I embossed some stars on top and the sentiment in the middle. I used WOW! Sparkling Snow Glitter. Finally I cut out the houses and adhered them on the bottom. I colored the windows and doors with Distress Markers (Walnut Stain, Mustard Seed). Thanks you for stopping by today. xx Susanne. Christmas Tag in July...

Image
Hi, Susan from the design team here.  This is my suggestion for Christmas in July. I took small pieces of paper and glued them on with matte medium. Then I painted with a brush in different places with blue, cream and yellow acrylic colors. At the top, I used my brayer to add white gesso to make it look like sand. Finally I sprayed the entire tag with glitter mist.  This was my base.  Then I cut and glued my stamped images and embellishments onto the tag. Christmas baubles are stamped with gray ink, punched and then covered with clear embossing powder. I have used the stamp sets  Take the Plunge and Christmas Cheers & Gift Tags This stamp I absolutely love, she looks far into the future ... Thank you for taking the time to visit the Rubber Dance blog. I wish you a nice day. Hugs, Susan ♥ ♥ ♥  SALE! SALE! SALE!  ♥ ♥ ♥ How about treating yourself to an early Christmas present?
