Hi everyone, It's Donna here today with a tag which looks like a piece of wood....well hopefully it does....a bit!! This is a really quick and simple effect to achieve. Apply a couple of blobs of  Fresco paints  (green and white) onto a  size 8 manila tag  and scrap down the paint using an old store/credit card....make sure it is an old one though lol. Once that is dry, then grab a ruler and a black fine liner pen and start to randomly draw in the 'planks' to give the wood effect and also add little dots to represent the nails. Add a little bit of brown Gelatos  randomly as shown on the photo to darken it down a bit. Not bad huh?! I can't take credit for this method as I saw it somewhere on my travels, probably Pinterest, but I really liked the way it looked so was dying to try it out for myself. The next step was to stamp the  Da Vinci woman 1  and a flower from the  Antique Botanicals  set onto a piece of  Strathmore...

So to work (well play really, I'm making it all up as I go along) I started by painting my envelopes with the paints, then added some stencilling in a contrasting colour. I've used totally different colours so that I've got a choice of colours for my toppers. I've used metallics on this one and they are really nice! For the 'in between...
