October Recap - Lots of Inspiration

Hi my dear stamping friends.

First of all I wish you a

Happy Halloween


It's October 31st and time for our monthly recap post! This is an overview on all the stunning samples our designers have created throughout the month.

I am not sure where to start this time, because:
  • We had an amazing stamp release this month (hurry up! the new stamps are on sale until midnight CET today - they are 20% off in our web shop)
  • We were sponsoring the Mixed Media Monthly Challenge 
  • and it's Halloween today so maybe you'd like to get some autumnal inspiration first

OK! Let's make it simple and lets start with all our autumn themed and Halloween creations! Just to get in the mood for our creepy parties tonight ;-)

CASology Challenge #213: Stitch - Card by Bibi

The cue word at the CASology challenge this week is STITCH, so without further ado - here's my card: Stamps used (all from Rubber Dance): Giraffe , Mannequin from Sew Sweet ,  X stitches from Stitch & Frame . Stamped with Archival Ink (coffee), coloured in with Distress inks (tea dye and mermaid lagoon). Rubber Dance Stamp Challenge - October

Klikk her for info på norsk (info in Norwegian) Hello, gorgeous! Are you ready for another fun challenge? I guess you are! Our colour scheme and theme this month might not come as a big surprise. After all, fall/autumn is all around us (here in the north, anyway), and we do love its glorious colours! We hope you do, too, when you create an entry (or three) for our October Challenge: Did you know that "fall" is an Old English word? It replaced the word 'harvest' in the early 1600s as more people started moving into cities. City dwellers began to use the phrase 'fall of the leaf'' and, over time, the phrase was shortened to fall. Surprisingly, etymologists don’t know where the word "autumn" comes from. It was used as far back at the 1300s (by Chaucer), and Shakespeare often used the word, too. As English spread to the New World, the common season names split as well and today, American English uses the word fall while British English
