Clean And Simple Cards, Part 2


Hey everyone!

Rubber Dance is proud to sponsor the CASology challenge blog again this week, and the cue word this time is FLY.  You can interpret the word any way you like - use your imagination and run fly with it! ;-)

If you are unfamiliar with the CASology challenge, it's all about Clean And Simple. Less is more, remember? For us mixed media lovers, this is a challenge in the true sense of the word. Try it and you might be surprised what you discover. Sometimes creating out of our comfort zone is just what we need in order to kick-start our muse and make her ....fly!

Hello everyone and welcome to a new month and a brand new challenge here at the Rubber Dance blog!  For most of us up here in the north, June is the first month of summer and with summer come flowers in bright and happy colours. So, here you go - our three challenge colours for June and a not-so-very surprising (although optional) theme: We need to see you using all three colours for your entries. CASology Challenge #213: Stitch - Card by Bibi

The cue word at the CASology challenge this week is STITCH, so without further ado - here's my card: Stamps used (all from Rubber Dance): Giraffe , Mannequin from Sew Sweet ,  X stitches from Stitch & Frame . Stamped with Archival Ink (coffee), coloured in with Distress inks (tea dye and mermaid lagoon). Blog Hoppin' Superpowers

Rubber Dance has gained a following of stampers that love our Sarcasm Superpowers sentiment stamps. These aren't exactly our best seller stamps (not very surprisingly), but if you love them, you'll LOVE them! And this particular group of followers certainly do - not very surprisingly at all with a group name like theirs .... namely the  Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! (I know, right? Too darn cute!) These fine ladies have bullied me and some of my designers into a blog hop featuring our Sarcasm Superpower stamps. It didn't take much persuation, nor any bribes to speak of. Just mention  "challenge", and we'll be all over you like underfed fruitflies on a brown banana. And that's what the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers is all about - a challenge blog with new challenges every other week. Fasten your seat belts and enjoy the bumpy ride!
