Kiss Me, I'm Irish!

Hi everyone! Bibi here today, and I know I'm a little early using March colours ... (think Paddy's Day), but when I saw that Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers had a challenge right now where kiss is the theme, I just HAD to make this Irish inspired kissie-kissie card:

An Irish giraffe? Why not! That stamp has become one of my favourites so she will continue to show up, unannounced and unexpected.

I made the Shamrock using three heart stamps, stamped with green ink and coloured in with a lighter shade. I made its stem by swooshing the green ink pad across a piece of cardstock, then cut it out in the thickness I needed.

The text is printed out, using a free font from dafont.com (love that place!).

The giraffe is popped up with pieces of foam tape underneath.

I finished off my card with some green fibers attached around the spine (is it called "spine" when we're talking about a card?)

I'm entering my card to:

Thank you for the inspiration, Snarkies!

 XOX,
Bibi

PS: I am not Irish, although my shoulder's tattoo of the Irish harp
and a tiny shamrock suggests otherwise:

I got it in Dublin over 20 years ago and it has faded a lot since then, but my love for Ireland has not!

This one is fantastic!!! It is so cool. The giraffe's glance goes perfect with the sentiment. She looks super self confident.

Thanks, Donna! ♥ Married on Paddy's Day, that is so cool! Did you wear a green dress? ;) I used to dye my hair green on March 17th, back in my younger days when I celebrated the day at an Irish pub in Oslo. Glad I found your challenge in time!
