New Stamps & Giveaway!

Helllooooo, everyone! It's Bibi here today to show you the brand new rubber stamps that I have just uploaded to the web shop!! 

 First, this sheet of beautiful African Animals stamps which is made from drawings that DT Susanne Rose did for me. I LOVE how beautifully the details stamp!

We have to choose one?! I love the animal stamps so much and they are perfect for so many occasions, especially for those men in the family! The numbers would be very useful for some of the different techniques I am trying and maybe for using on gifts however if I had to choose just one I'd go with my heart and that says get the beautiful beasties: I would love to use those with my inks and paints - the African landscapes would be awesome! Changed my mind now, I need the beasties lol! So much gorgeous temptation, thanks for the chance Bibi! xx

After all, fall/autumn is all around us (here in the north, anyway), and we do love its glorious colours! We hope you do, too, when you create an entry (or three) for our October Challenge: Did you know that "fall" is an Old English word? It replaced the word 'harvest' in the early 1600s as more people started moving into cities. City dwellers began to use the phrase 'fall of the leaf'' and, over time, the phrase was shortened to fall. Surprisingly, etymologists don’t know where the word "autumn" comes from. It was used as far back at the 1300s (by Chaucer), and Shakespeare often used the word, too. As English spread to the New World, the common season names split as well and today, American English uses the word fall while British English

CASology Challenge #213: Stitch - Card by Bibi

The cue word at the CASology challenge this week is STITCH, so without further ado - here's my card: Stamps used (all from Rubber Dance): Giraffe , Mannequin from Sew Sweet ,  X stitches from Stitch & Frame . Stamped with Archival Ink (coffee), coloured in with Distress inks (tea dye and mermaid lagoon).
