Hi Everyone, it is Helen on the DT here and it is my turn to share an idea or two with you this rainy Sunday (perfect crafting weather!!) I am using some gorgeous and brand new stamps from the lovely Bibi today and I know you are going to love them.  They are Envelope Stamps and are perfect for putting the finishing touches to all your crafting mail.  If you love taking part in swaps or pocket letters then these are must have stamps to add to your collection! My tutorial today is more of a look what you could be doing and an ideas tutorial rather than a detailed step by step.  I was inspired by one of the many, many stamps in this set that says 'Only dull people send dull envelopes'!  Challenge laid down and accepted Bibi………… I started out on my crafting journey thinking just envelopes and then things took on a life of their own as you will see.  One envelope became a pretty set of three…… I even created one to send to Australia!!!  You have...

Paper Canister with Majo

Image
Hi all, it's Majo on the DT here today to show you how to create a canister using the beautiful "Antique Botanicals" stamps and sentiments from various stamp sets, all from Rubber Dance. I started with cutting my template using the Sizzix die "CANISTER SET", designed by Eileen Hull, and stamped the flowers with Ranger Archival Ink.     I used KOH-I-NOOR color pencils for the flowers and colored the background with Distress Ink "Tumbled Glass" and a water tank brush.  You can find all the stamps I used in the Rubber Dance web shop Have fun crafting! ♥ Majo

Mixed Media Canvas with Shilpa

Hello Everyone, Shilpa here with another Guest Design project. As promised I am back today with a Mixed media canvas created with amazing Rubber Dance stamps. Before we proceed I would like to say... I am grateful for all love and support from Bibi and her team as well as you all readers for wonderful response for my previous Art Journal page. And here is my canvas for today... I've used only Rubber Dance Stamps here. Let me take you through procedure... I started with adhering various design papers on the surface, primed it with thin layer of Gesso. After this I swiped Teal and yellow acrylic paints randomly with an old credit card. Here, you will find I spritzed Lindy's red ink through Prima Basket wave stencil. When it all dried completely... I started stamping. I've used these Rubber Dance Stamps in the background with yellow, blue and black Archival inks 1. Diamonds 2. Round in Circles 3. Create 4. Tiny heart Lov...
