Rubber Dance Art Stamps - Blog

Hi there! It's Bibi popping in today to show you some more artwork where Trish Latimer and I have combined our stamps (if you missed the first post, you can find it here ). The photos below have been posted on Facebook and Trish's blog, but knowing you're not all on FB or following her blog, I wanted to show them here as well. WordGilr #3 from StarTrish Design, Textured Flowers from Rubber Dance. I stamped the WordGirl and big flowers on old book pages , added watercolouring using Inktense pencils, cut them out and adhered to the background with decoupage glue. I painted some shadows on one side of the images to make them pop a bit from the background. Fun fact: I didn't pay any attention to what the text on the old book pages said, but some of the words that I can see on the girl's face are "freedom", "flirt" and "real feelings". - I guess her big dreams are of the romantic nature! ♥ Trish has a series of videio tutor...

Bibi here today with two CAS cards I've made for the current  CASology challenge , where the theme this week is JOURNEY: My tip: When using only a sentiment stamp on your card, you can add a bit of interest  by cutting out one of the words, frame it and adhere it with foam tape off to the side. Good morning, my crafty friends! It's Majo here today and I want to say a few things first. This is my final post as a member of this wonderful design team. It’s been an amazing two years with the owner Bibi and the talented artists from all over the countries. I’ve made new friends and learned a lot during this time. Thanks so much for having me and also thanks so much for the generosity in providing so many awesome stamp sets. Hi everyone! Susanne writing today and I have an Artist Trading Block to share. I used my brand new "Textured Flower" stamps, I drew for Rubber Dance.  The base of my block is cut with the Silhouette Cameo. Of course it's easy to cut it by hand. I used Brushos for the background. Scroll down to see the step by step instructions. Here are the step by step instructions: 1. Cut the base for your cube and six pieces from a Brusho background, that have the same size like each side of the block. 2. Ink the edges of the Brusho pieces with Distress Ink black soot. 3. Color the base of the block with watercolor crayons. I use Neocolor II. Blend the color with a wet baby wipe. 4. Add some more color with a brown and black watercolor crayon. 5. Stamp the textured flowers from the stamp set onto your brusho pieces and on some white cardstock. Cut the white ones out. Adhere them to the background and add some more texture with the other s...

Hello everyone! It's Bibi here today to show you some awesome stamps that are NOT from Rubber Dance! As a stamp manufacturer myself and the owner of Rubber Dance, it has been years since I went shopping for stamps anywhere else..... However! When I saw that Trish Latimer had launched the first stamps from her own designs, I nearly fell off my chair in excitement!!! Her stamps - which you can see here - are quite big: 12 cm tall (!) and I knew right away that they would be a perfect match with the big flower stamps on Rubber Dance's set  Textured Flowers . Hello everyone! So happy to be back with my dear friends at Rubber Dance today for a guest appearance! I was actually a bit cheeky and kind of invited myself, because I really wanted to get my hands on the gorgeous ' Fly with Me ' stamp set! I've created a small assemblage piece today using lots of pieces of chipboard layered together. Here's how I created it. Rubber Dance stamps used: Fly with Me Collage Elements 1 Round in Circles 1) Glue several layers of chipboard shapes together so they form a pleasing shape. Have a focal area for your stamp and make some of the elements overhang the main background shape. I added some stencilling with modelling paste to the arched piece. 2) Paint the whole thing with black gesso and allow to dry. 3) Spray liberally with lots of shimmer sprays, spraying close to and getting lots of mica in there, I used mostly ColourArte Radiant Rains for this.
