"Staycation" Postcard by Angie Coomber

 Hello arty friends, How are you all? We are having very strange, mixed weather in this part of the world, quite a lot of rain and not very summery at all. Which got me thinking about how different holidays are for a lot of us at the moment, so I created a "Staycation" postcard. I have a set of blank watercolour postcards which I used for this.  I used the Happy Place stamp set to stamp some images on watercolour paper.  I used watercolours to colour some of these in and used coloured pencils to add some shading. Next I used one of the stamps from the Pencil Marks #1 set, embossing ink and clear embossing powder to add some texture to the background, followed by Oxide Inks in shades of blue & green. I wiped over the whole postcard with a piece of kitchen towel to make the white embossed area stand out, then stamped some gold stars on the dark blue area. Christmas Post Cards by Susanne

Hi my dear crafty Christmas friends! Today I'd like to show you two Christmas post cards with the brand new August release from Rubber Dance. I'm very happy stamping with these images, 'cause these are my drawings. It was a very special moment stamping the first time with my own designs. And I am so glad, that Bibi liked them and let them become Rubber Dance stamps. Let's talk about the postcards now: I used Frosty from the "Frosty Friends" set, as well as the snowflakes and a sentiment stamp from the "Winter Wonderland" set. The backside is created with the July "Envelope  Stamps" from Rubber Dance. I stamped the snowman on a piece of watercolor paper with jet black Archival Ink. I used a heavy weight paper. Next step was coloring the background with Distress Ink "tumbled glas" and the ink blending tool. I used the same color for the snowman as well as Distress Ink "barn door", "spiced marmalade...
