Image
Hi everyone,    I wish you a happy and healthy 2022! Today it's my turn to show you this tutorial, making these three ATC cards  with the lovely Loose Florals #1.    I used Loose florals #1 Hydrangea I used thesentiment Pencil Marks #3 used the circle I stamped the background with Distress Ink, light blue, green, orange and purple colors, see below.     I used the leftovers for the last card.   I made some marks with the circles in white embossing powder.     With this colorful background I love to use the florals in white. I stamped them with black ink and cut them out.  The stamps I used:   Pencil Marks #3   Loose florals #1   Hydrangea       A little reminder that our beautiful Inspiration Board January  continues in the  Rubber Dance Stamping Lounge  on Facebook. We hope to see you there.     Thank you for your visit and enjoy your day! Mariken XX

CASual Friday

Hello everyone Debs here today with my take on this week’s Clean and Simple style, and I have a card for you using the stamp I designed, Hydrangea ! This really was a quick card to make and so I hope it inspires you to try this style. First I stamped the Hydrangea and dried it.  With a brush and clear water I painted around the stamped area. To this  I added my pigment (watercolour paints) and before it dried used a clean tissue and lifted off some of the colour. Next I focused on the stamped areas, again using my paint gave them several layers building up the shadows and highlights. Finally I added the sentiment. You can purchase this, and many other wonderful stamps from the Rubber Dance shop Hydrangea Take care and I’ll see you soon  Hugs xxx

Have you seen the  new stamps  from Rubber Dance? We've offered FREE shipping all week, and today's supposed to be the last day ... However, most of our customers tend to place their orders on a Sunday so we're extending the offer for a couple of days - till midnight Monday the 11th, in case you missed our release last weekend. Bibi played with one of the stamps from Fish, Swim, Love and this is what she came up with! Original stamp: Turned into a Christmas tree: Susanne used stamps from the same set in her bullet journal: Same triangle fish, totally different look: Watch Susanne's video tutorial here . Debs has been having fun with the Hydrangea stamp, embossing and Brusho's. Love how the colours blend and run for an "imperfect" look! Or how about this colour: Watch Susanne's  video tutorial for this card. FREE shipping on your entire order when you order any or all of the...

New Summer Stamps!

Image
Hey, crafters! It's Bibi the stamp maker at Rubber Dance here. Check out the new summer stamps I'm releasing today! ♥ Want free shipping with those? Scroll down for the coupon code  ♥ What does summer mean for you? Picking wild flowers in the meadow? Do some gardening, perhaps? Or do you prefer being out on a boat, maybe trying your new fishing rod? All of the above if you ask me! So I asked two of my regular stamp designers to come up with some flower and fish stamps, and boy - did they! Deborah Wainwright drew the gorgeous hydrangea and the fantasy wild flowers in a jar. Melina Dahl drew the funny fish skeleton and the adorable triangle fish. I added sentiments to the sets and did all the technical stuff (won't bore you with the details), and I believe I looked like a proud peacock when I saw the result in rubber. I've been making stamps for many years, but seeing new stamps for the very first time still feels like some sort of magic! :-) Click on t...
