On this card I tried to create waves by tearing the paper horizontally, and adhering the ships on and between these waves.  White heat embossed script, birds and postal cancel stamp on the dark and colorful background creates more interest.  Just a little color added to the fussycut stamped images with PanPastel make them pop a little.  See you next time, Ellie.    Rubber Dance Stamps: The Rubber Dance Webshop AHOY Vintage P:ostcard Vintage Script

.   Hello to all my crafty friends!  Mary here with another Blog post featuring  Textured Birds  on an Artist Trading Coin.  An ATCoin is a 2.5 inch circle instead of a 2.5x 3.5 inch rectangle (an artist trading card).  I used Dina Wakley collage paper, acrylic paint and a leaf stencil for the background, and I colored in the cute lil birdie with Distress Oxide Inks and a Posca Pen.  I've made a quick video tutorial so you can see my process.   Here's my video: Here are some close ups of the Artist Trading Coin: The Rubber Dance Stamp I used: I hope you like this quick and cute project and want to make one of your own. Happy June to all my crafty friends! The beautiful weather brings out the spring colors and all the birds!  Here for you, I've made a small art journal page using only three distress oxide colors, along with  Textured Birds and  Mix a Sentiment 1 stamps to create this colorful little scene. Hi everyone, It's Donna here today with a simple tag for Simplicity Sunday! I used one of these small greyboard  tags  covering it with a coat of  black Gesso  to create a chalky background. I seem to be in love with creating with black at the moment! I wanted to make a rainbow as I had an idea to pair it up with the clouds from  Whimsical Summer  (which I use soooo much). Now when I was at school....yes I still can remember that far back.....we were always told there were seven colours in the rainbow but now it seems to be six?! Apparently some people do not count Indigo as a colour on the spectrum, anyway so I decided to create a rainbow with the six colours then ;) The rainbow was created by using Zig Clean Colour pens on a piece of water colour paper in an arch shape and then cut out and adhered to the background. Next step was to take the bird and clouds from  Whimsical Summer , colouring them with the Zig pens and then fussy cuttin...

Heyyyy. stampers! Bibi here today (owner of Rubber Dance) to share some photos of cards I have made with the brand new stamps !  These stamps are so new, my Design Team didn't even get them yet!  Wanna beat them to it? Keep reading ... The first card I want to show you is made with this cool dude, the Rascal Rooster . I have used our challenge  colours this month (green, white, orange),  and also a lot of blue (the national colour of Ireland).  I coloured the rooster with Inktense watercolour pencils.  The panel behind him is with Distress inks in matching colours. Here's another version, more fierce looking this time. Brusho background: Another Irish card ... although this Clover Castle stamp can be French or German or ...  any nationality, I guess! Next up are some cards where I've used stamps from the new set, Games : Combined with stamps from the sets Pick a Number and Round in Circles....

Hello everyone! Just recently I did two things that I rarely do: I joined a swap AND I made ATCs!  The reason why I don't make ATCs very often is that the size is so small - I'm just not used to creating anything of that size (635 mm x 890 mm /3.5 x 2.5 inches). But - I do love a good challenge, so I scratched my head for a couple of weeks ... and once I got going it was quite fun! The theme was "Things With Wings" and we had to make three different ATCs. Here are mine, all made with stamps from my own company. Letter stamps from unknown ... (let me know if you know which company!) I really like those, so I guess I could make something similar - perhaps a bit bigger, though...  I cut the wings out so they stand up: For another swap (same hostess), I made this postcard using stamps from Quietfire Design (calligraphy sentiment) and Cherry Pie Art Stamps: Thanks for stopping by today! Hello my dear crafty friends! Irit is here and I welcome you  to my new art journal double paged spread made with A LOT of Rubber Dance stamps , but also with self made stencil, lots of mediums  and a lot of free hand doodling too. It's almost impossible to make a tutorial about art pages; so I  just explain the working process and will give you some tips about this page. First I picked the theme and it was Home. Then I found the saying that said "Life takes us to unexpected places, but Love takes us  home". From now on I picked colors (just black-grey and yellow) and home connected things. I made brick wall with texture paste and heat embossing with clear embossing powder. I was looking for  stencils with houses and didn't find any in my stash, So I die cut the very old Sizzix die strip with sky line and made my own stencil, the one that cross both pages in the middle. I outlined the houses with black pen and made a white paint circle over on...
