Simplicity Sunday ATCs with Asia

Image
Hi everyone, so happy to be here on Rubber Dance blog with my very easy project for Simplicity Sunday:) For this set of ATCs I prepared my background by coloring an acrylic block with my ordinary markers, making lines of color a little like a rainbow. I sprayed it ever so slightly with water and pressed it onto a mixed media paper. I cut out two ATC size cards and  made black outline  with Uni Ball black pen. I decided to use this gorgeous Phone Home stamp by stamping one side of the girl on one card, the other side- on the other card. The stamped girls are overlapping a little each other, but I felt like this will be the best option to simply fill up more the empty space on the cards. I added two sentiments from Bling, Bling! stamp set, painted the wings with glitter markers and added some glitter to the  girl's"bellies". A book of dreams - and how to alter Glasssine bags with Rubber Dance stamps

Hello and welcome, Anita from the Design Team here today. I want to show you my ongoing project that is huge ! I make a book from scratch, a so-called digi junk journal. And inside the book I want a few pages of glassine bags that I can put tags etc. up in and behind. So I came up with the brilliant (?) idea to make my own glassine bags ( Just because it is not possible to get these in Norway), and alter them with Rubber Dance stamps. And here they are, my homemade glassine bags: Here is a picture of one of the bags inside my book: You can easily make your own glassine bags. Only use baking paper and glue, pattern scissors and a round puncher. I also used some Archival ink and a few stencils on the background just to achieve some interest. Stamped I've used is: Solid Butterflies Butterfly girl #1 Think Again Vintage postcard Phone Home Round in circles Flying ink botle Fly-fly flowers I hope I gave you som...

ATCs...

Image
Hello Everyone, Shilpa from the Design Team here. I would like to share some ATCs with you today I created this set of ATCs using Rubber Dance Stamps Butterfly Girl 1 Butterfly Girl 2 Flying Ink Bottle Phone Home Art Defined For all the ATCs the making process is same, and they are easy to make. To start with I applied Distress Oxide inks (2 colors) to the surface, spritzed water and dried it. For next layer, I used different stencils and applied inks with a blending tool. Then I stamped focal images using black archival ink. For more texture in the background, I stamped text using "Art Defined" stamp. I adhered the words and the ATCs were ready! Thanks so much for stopping by. Don't forget to join us at Rubber Dance May Color Challenge .
