Beach Ahoy by Ellie Knol

Image
On this card I tried to create waves by tearing the paper horizontally, and adhering the ships on and between these waves.  White heat embossed script, birds and postal cancel stamp on the dark and colorful background creates more interest.  Just a little color added to the fussycut stamped images with PanPastel make them pop a little.  See you next time, Ellie.    Rubber Dance Stamps: The Rubber Dance Webshop AHOY Vintage P:ostcard Vintage Script

CAS butterfly on card and envelope by Ellie Knol

Image
Ellie here today with a little inspiration, I hope you are doing fine!!   For today's card (and envelope)  I chose for a clean-and-simple composition,  which is a style I don't use too often. I masked the butterfly (or moth actually) to be able to stamp the script (Art Defined) 'behind' it.  The images have been colored with watercolor pencils, the blue background with PanPastel.  I splattered white ink to finish it off...  Rubber Dance Stamps: The Rubber Dance Webshop Inky Friends Art Defined

Mixed Media Tags with Susanne

Image
Hi there! Susanne writing today and I've to share a step out tutorial for a mixed media tag. I used the lovely owls from the " Owl do Good " stamp set as my focal point. Here are the step by step instructions: Cut a tag from a colourful background. I used Brushos together with Colourcraft Aztec Metallics to make mine. Any kind of watercolour background will work. Use PanPastel plus stencils to add some more texture. Add gesso on some areas and cover it with acrylic paints when it's dry. Add some background stamping to the tag and black and white splatters. Finally add your focal image(s). Here are two more tags I made with the same technique: I hope you like my tags! Have a nice weekend, Susanne.
