Christmas Gift Accessoires | TAG and Bauble with Poinsettias

Image
Hello everyone, it's Dunja here today and i'm sharing two little christmas things with you.  You can't have enough little Christmas tags, can you? Something here and there that's quick too. I have a Christmas bauble and a tag for you here. I also used the stamps from the Textured Christmas Green set. The poinsettias are wonderful. Do you love them too? I embossed the motifs, stamped them on a gel print and cut them out. You can also use leftovers very well. Here I used a paper that was created in the gel print. I made it as an intermediate layer for the ball and sewed it on for the tag. I hope I could inspire you to create little Christmas accessories. Happy crafting! Have a great day, thanks for stopping by, see you soon.  Dunja   ( Blog  |  Instagram  |  Facebook ) Textured Christmas Green Cosy Christmas Music   Rubber Dance links: Website Facebook Pinterest Blog Instagram YouTube

Hopeful art journal spread

Image
Hi friends!  Lisa today with you on the blog and I'm happy to share my new art journal inspiration for Rubber Dance design team playing with these awesome stamps and my favorite watercolors! To start I brushed a coat of white gesso on my pages. Then I used my favorite watercolors to create a circular rainbow effect on my pages. I chose Grungy Stuff , Music Sheet and Mixed Media Marks stamp sets and I made a little stamping with archival inks. Then I stamped and cutted some butterflies on a white cardstock from Inky Friends stamp set and I used them as embellishments on my pages. For the final touch I made some splatters with gold watercolor. I used these products from the shop: https://www.rubberdance.de/big-sheets/music/#cc-m-product-13992010033 https://www.rubberdance.de/small-sheets/grungy-stuff/#cc-m-product-14004441033 https://www.rubberdance.de/big-sheets/inky-friends/#cc-m-product-14383086833 I hope you enjoyed my art journal inspiration for today! Two quick and easy last minute christmas cards

Image
Hey lovely Rubber Dancer's, it's the 3rd advent sunday...time flies and so it's that time when you think "oh i need a quick christmas card". I'll share two ways today and i hope you'll like it. I've used some of my gelliprints. I embossed the trees gold, in different shades. This gives a very interesting shimmer. I cut out the embossed trees and stamped the stamp again in black on grey cardboard and cut it out with a little border.  The pink background is embossed in white with the note stamp. Perfect if you don't have a gel print at hand, just emboss the background. It looks great, doesn't it? Then all you have to do is stick on the trees and a text if you wish :) That's all. If you want, you can just decorate with beads or something similar. I hope you have a good final rush))) in the Christmas card making process :)) Have a fabolous day, please, stay healthy and stay creative during this difficult times. Oh and of course, do not miss, ...

Christmas Pocket Letter by Susanne

Image
Hi my dear Rubber Dance Friends! I have so much fun creating Pocket Letters and I'd like to share one of my techniques today. I used the new Christmas stamp sets together with the "Affirmations", "Music Notes" and the "Pines Fir Yew" set. Let's start! I used a piece of watercolor cardstock that I cut to the size 10.5" by 7.5" and embossed some of the branches from the Pine Fir Yew set with white powder. I colored the background with the Marabu Art Spray. I really like these sprays,  because they are waterproof when they are dry. I used Distress Ink Walnut Stain to add some droplets. I pressed the the ink pad onto an acrylic block, added some water and let the drops fall down. Finally I made some smaller splatters and used a bit of Pearlescent watercolors to make it shimmering. I stamped some circles from the "Round in Circles" set, some of the cones from the "Frosty Friends" set and the ...
