  For today's post I created four Mixed Media Background Collage Cards! I created a masterboard with collaging different elements to a piece of paper that measured 30 by 30 centimeters approximately. The  HOW TO : Adhere elements like fussycut stamped images (flowers and leaves), but also book paper and some colored imagery (mostly green leaves).   Stamp with Mixed Media or flower stamps in the background. Apply gesso over the elements partially with a palette knife using gesso.  Spray with green and orange spray inks to merge all the of elements to a cohesive background.  Tear four pieces from this masterboard to fit the four card bases.   Adhere fussycut stamped images, stamp postage stamps and fussycut stamped torn pieces of postage tickets to finish each card off.   See you next time!  Rubber Dance Stamps: The Rubber Dance Webshop Mixed Media Marks #3  Grungy Butterflies Textured Birds Flowers Gone Wild Textured M...

Ellie here today, I hope you are doing fine!  This card has a little bit of a history; one I did not see coming, lol.  Earlier this week I decided I would want to use the  Textured Houses  stamp set for today's post. Got me thinking to search for a suitable background: something with blue on it for clouds and yellow to make it a sunny card. I found a background in my stash, a quite big one of which I cut backgrounds for 2 cards.  Then suddenly I had an AHA moment: I've done this before! Same idea, same colors and same stamps: in  this  post!!  I stuck to my plan and decided to not fussycut the houses, but stamp them directly onto the background.  The HOW-TO from here onward:  - Stamp the tiny houses and stars onto the background and heat emboss with clear. - Color the houses with watercolors.  - Add white accents with a ... ... gelly roller.  - Add a pavement with the 'bricks' stamp from the same stamp set.  - Stamp some M...

An easy card today from me .. I used leftovers from a sticker sheet that was monoprinted on (see this post ) from my stash and cut 3x3 centimeter squares from it to form a square on a blank square card.  I stamped with orange and black background stamps onto the card to tie it all together as shown. A fussycut bird, butterflies and a sentiment finish it off.  See you next time! I have a fun tutorial for you today..  The how-to:  - Find or create an A5 sized background with a darker and a lighter part as shown.  - Cut the lighter part to size as the background, in my case it measures 10 x !4,3 centimeters. - Stamp the houses on the rest of the colored cardstock.  - Fussycut all of the houses.  - Add white highlights to all of them with a white gelpen.  - Stamp some doors and windows on a leftover piece in an opposite color, for example a yellowish window for a bluish house and vice versa. Fussy cut these too.  - Add extra color to part of the houses in corresponding colors.  - Adhere the fussycut windows and doors to the houses. Also stamp a bigger window and adhere it onto one of the houses, just for fun.   - Stamp Mixed Media Stamps to the background with corresponding colors and a grey.  - Adhere all the houses to the background, I chose to stick 3D tape to some of them for more interest....

  Hi, I'm Vero (@ Vero.kt) and I welcome you to today's inspiration. How's everybody ? I've been playing with   Mixed media marks 1 ,  Pencil marks 5   ,  Mixed media marks 3   and   Sketchy Leaves   to  create a  colorful Atc´s that I hope you like . Very easy to do, we started. We cut watercolor paper to a size of 2.5 x 3.5 inches, if you prefer to work in cm, 6.4x8.9. In my case, the paper is smooth and hot pressed, and I color the backgrounds with pigments. When the backgrounds dry (we can speed up the process with a heat gun) we will add texture and depth with different inks, in my case I have used distress oxide.To start, I choose a stamp from the  Mixed media marks  , apply the inks, spray water, and stamp, (I'm not looking for definition, I'm looking for a watercolor effect, watery). Help myself with the dryer and go back to stamp with different inks, to continue adding depth and texture. One of the parts...
