New Website AND Birthday SALE!

Image
Hi everyone! It's Bibi here, the owner of Rubber Dance, and guess what.... Today is my birthday!! Hey??! Not only is it my birthday - I have made a brand new website for Rubber Dance! But, wait - there is more: NEW stamps, too? You bet! I made these tags with some of the new stamps ... Yes, I made birthday tags for myself ... The backgrounds on the ones to the left and right are my first attempt with the really cool nail polish in water marbling technique. (If you have no idea what I'm talking about, here's a really good tutorial with Carla Sonheim). The tag in the middle was coloured with Distress inks and misted with water, while the stamped label on top is with the nail polish technique. Since it's my birthday, I'm in a particularly good mood - so let's have a SALE! :-) I'm turning 48 today, but I'm afraid I cannot offer a 48 % discount or I'd get ruined! :-O So, how about 5 %? That's not good enough, you say? OK, then .... s...

Oh yes!! Christmas is coming closer!!

Hello again, my dear friends of Rubber Dance! My name is Gabriele from Art-a-tag and I am a Mixed Media artist from Germany.  Please follow me on the next step of our exciting journey using the fantastic Rubber Dance Art stamps.  I am so thrilled, when I look at those beautiful cards and projects created by the Rubber Dance Design Team. Most of my colleagues are very experienced and skilled stampers and I learn a lot from them. I must say, it is not as easy as it looks!!! I always struggle with the lack of material and those cute machines, that do all kinds of fantastic cut outs, embossing and things I might not even know. And all those fantastic embellishments!! Sometimes I feel like a child being jealous about other kids' toys. So I have to think of other solutions to keep things interesting. I have huge stacks of magazines for decoration, homes and gardens and such with beautiful photographs in it - I am glad I have a tolerant hubby, because I hoard tons of...

Dreaming of a White Christmas, mixed media card

Image
Hello everyone! It's Olga again here today and I will try to inspire you :-) I hope you all enjoy this new day and have some time for new creations ;-) I want to share with you my new winter card "Happy holidays". It's again a little vintage and very snowy :-) I love snow and I love to add gesso, texture paste and some glitter to make my winter cards more natural. I used some of the stamps from the set Pines Fir Yew stamped with green acryl paints, and StazOon for the phrase Happy holidays. You all know that I love to use stamps with paint and StazOn and then cut them from the paper and put on my card.  I really love how it looks a nd I hope you will like it too :-))) Notice how I put a dew drop over the 'o' in Holidays. I think it adds a cute detail. I didn't use a lot of decor for this card and I love how it came out. Let's create something sweet and cute for our friends and families!!! :-)  Wish you a wonderful day! B...

Frosty Paper Lantern

Image
Hi everyone! It's me, Susanne, today and I've another Christmas decoration today to share with you. I loved loved loved how the awesome Pine Fir Yew stampes turned out when they were embossed on the cards in my previous post. This time I did nearly the same. The only difference is that I embossed them on white vellum! Awesome! What do you think? I used my Silhouette Studio Cutting file from my last lantern and added a new window style. I cut everything out of red cardstock and added some "snow" using white acrylic paint, some white texture paste and finally lots of Distress Glitter Clear Rock Candy! I cut my vellum and embossed the stamped images with white detail embossing powder. After I adhered them into my lantern I ripped some of the paper out to create the look of broken glass. I used this funny sentiment stamp from Rubber Dance. I love it!  It's so charming! I also used the fir branch in a more traditional way. I stamped it on white pap...
