New Summer Stamps!

Image
Hey, crafters! It's Bibi the stamp maker at Rubber Dance here. Check out the new summer stamps I'm releasing today! ♥ Want free shipping with those? Scroll down for the coupon code  ♥ What does summer mean for you? Picking wild flowers in the meadow? Do some gardening, perhaps? Or do you prefer being out on a boat, maybe trying your new fishing rod? All of the above if you ask me! So I asked two of my regular stamp designers to come up with some flower and fish stamps, and boy - did they! Deborah Wainwright drew the gorgeous hydrangea and the fantasy wild flowers in a jar. Melina Dahl drew the funny fish skeleton and the adorable triangle fish. I added sentiments to the sets and did all the technical stuff (won't bore you with the details), and I believe I looked like a proud peacock when I saw the result in rubber. I've been making stamps for many years, but seeing new stamps for the very first time still feels like some sort of magic! :-) Click on t...

Klikk her for Ã¥ lese dette innlegget pÃ¥ norsk (post in Norwegian) Congratulations to the Rubber  Dance  challenge' s 2nd anniversary. Dear blog readers, Susan from the DT here and I've used the colors of March 2016. Now our summer will soon be over here in the north, and some of us have come back from our summer vacation. When I'm on vacation I always collect some memories, clippings, old tickets, stones, shells and many wonderful holiday pictures. When I looked at the Retro Beach stamp set, I was inspired and I think it's fantastic and perfectly suited for my ATCs. I have stamped with black Archival ink and colored with crayons. I have used distress micro glace.  It is a very good product to put on top of my colored image to spray with the stain distress afterwards. Colors I have used: Distress spray stain rusty hinge, mustard seed and salty ocean. Distress ink ground espresso Inktense crayons and Ranger ATC Different things from my stas...

I used washi tape to mask the filmstrip, which I printed with the computer. I picked Gold Rich embossing powder for the sun and Archival Ink Coffee for the sea shells. All the rest is stamped with Jet Black Archival Ink. I colored it with Neocolor crayons. I skribbled each crayon onto my craft mat and picked it up with a watertank brush. I stamped  the lovely Seahorse with Memento Luxe Teal Zeal. This one is cut out seperately. Heat Embossing Resist on Canvas

Image
Hello y'all! So happy to be a guest designer here today for Rubber Dance Art Stamps! My name is Niki, but in Blogland I am Pawsitively Creative. I am honored to be here and to show you how I used these luscious and lovely stamps. Here is what I made: I was intrigued with these stamps and had to showcase the two together - Vintage Script and Diamonds . I started with a Gesso'd canvas. When that was dry I used the stamps with a white embossing powder to create my "resist". I then inked everything with archival ink and used a baby wipe clean off the stamped image. I then started adding my chipboard butterflies. I inked the butterflies the same as the canvas and added the black edge while leaving a little bit of white peaking through. I handmade the pink flowers and glued some cheesecloth down. The hexagon Chippies were painted with gesso and randomly applied for some depth.  I stamped the sentiment (Dream It, Wish It, Do It from the set Think ...
