Winter Wonderland Tags

Image
Hey everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with some fun winter tags. The new Rubber Dance Winter stamps, aptly named Winter Wonderland, are lovely.  Using a chipboard tag, I inked it with blue ink then using 2 snowflake stamps and 2 shades of blue, I stamped the tag until it was covered.  Adding  a torn strip across the tag, I added the sentiment. The next tag was stamped with the snowflake stamp then matted with blue cardstock for emphasis.  The sentiment was stamped on a scrap, torn and added to the tag. Why not pop by the store and check out the amazing stamps available. Thanks for stopping by today. Steph

Fall Gift Set

Image
Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with some lovely stamps from Rubber Dance.  I've used the stamp set Pines Fir Yew, and began by randomly stamping the white gift bag. I inked up the entire sheet of rubber stamps with shades of brown ink.  Leaving the rubber flat, I placed a sheet of beige cardstock on top and used a brayer to transfer the images to the cardstock.  I cut the panel to fit and matted it with kraft cardstock.  I also inked up some ribbon so it coordinated better with my project. A Spellbinders die was cut from beige cardstock and added just above the ribbon.  Stickers spelled out Fall.  Using the same stamps, inks and papers as the gift bag, I made a coordinating card. I totally love these stamps and hope you do, too. Thanks for stopping by today. Thinking of You

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with some lovely stamps from Rubber Dance.  This set - I Love Leaves - has a variety of leaves in all shapes and sizes. I created a pocket to hold a tag and first stamped the pocket with the Burlap stamp in brown. This Burlap stamp looks quite authentic. Next, I stamped the leaves in several colors on white cardstock.  Wrapping ribbon around the panel, I then matted it with brown cardstock before adding the panel to the tag.  The sentiment is from the set called Just a note.  This collection of sentiment stamps is perfect for a wide variety of projects. Thanks for stopping by today! Steph To find all the stamps used for this card, and many more, visit the Rubber Dance web shop: www.rubberdance.com

A Leafy Hello

Image
Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today and I have fallen in love with the leaf stamps from Rubber Dance.  This set - NP1-M: I Love Leaves - has a variety of leaves in all shapes and sizes.  You can easily cut apart the stamps and use them independently, but I opted to keep the sheet of rubber whole and use it as a background stamp.  I wanted to stay with a fall theme, so I used greens and browns.  After inking the stamp with assorted colors of Clearsnap chalk ink, I stamped a panel of white cardstock.  After inking the edges of the panel with brown ink, I matted it with 2 colors of brown cardstock, then  wrapped some coordinating ribbon around the panel before adding it to the green card. Several leaves were fussy cut and scrunched to give them a more realistic look.  They were added to the card with foam adhesives under the ribbon.    The sentiment (JNEN-2E: Just a note) was tied to...

Decorated Canvas by Steph Ackerman

Image
Hi everyone, Steph here with my first blog post as a DT member for Rubber Dance.  I love these red rubber stamps.  They are very detailed and stamp beautifully each and every time I use them. Today I want to share a mini canvas I created with Rubber Dance stamps. I started by first inking the canvas with 3 colors of Clearsnap chalk ink - blue for the sky, cream for the center and tan for the ground: Next, I used the Sea Mesh stamp, inking it first with Candied Yam Chalk Ink and stamping the canvas.  I then inked the stamp again with Chestnut Roan Chalk Ink and stamped over the first image: The Retro Beach sentiment was stamped on a scrap of paper and the Sea Mesh stamp was stamped lightly on top of the sentiment, both with Blush Rose Chalk.  I then tore it, inked it and added it to the canvas with foam adhesives for dimension: Finally, I stamped the Retro Beach sea shells in black ink across the bottom of the canvas. All the stamps used...
