Image
Hello! It´s Melina here on this Technique Thursday. Hope you are all fine and are up for some cardmaking! Today I played with my round Gel press printing plate to make some  card backgrounds. Here below you can find my video tutorial. I didn´t use all of the printed backgrounds for this post,  but you will see them come to use later :) Rubber Dance stamps used for these two cards: Handsome Hedgehog Snazzy Squirrel Both these stamp sets are one solid image. In the video you can see how I have  cut them apart to be able to use parts of the stamps more easily.  Yes! You dare to cut in your stamps, it´s making them more versatile :) Thank you for stopping by today, and hope you enjoyed my tutorial! xx Melina

Autumnal Mixed Media Tags with Gelli Printed Backgrounds

Image
Hi everyone! Susanne writing today! I am sharing two mixed media tags with the cute Snazzy Squirrel and the cool Funny Fungi .   I started with gelli printed backgrounds and added more texture by stamping some autumnal leaves from the I Love Leaves stamp set in different colours. The main images are coloured with coloured pencils, fussy cut and adhered to the tags. Finally I put the sentiments on top, which were cut with the Tim Holtz word block dies from Sizzix. I used left over papers that matched my background. Thank you for stopping by today! xx Susanne. Their challenge for October is to use these happy colours: Being their sponsor this month, we have sent their team some Rubber Dance stamps for inspiration makes. The stamps they have used are: Funny Fungi, Handsome Hedgehog, Merry Magpie, and Snazzy Squirrel, and you can see their makes over at their challenge blog . We decided to do the same,  so here's some inspiration from our own teamies.  Let's start with Melina , who designed those four stamp sets for Rubber Dance: Anita made this cool canvas: Sue created these colourful cards: Bibi 's two cards: Be careful with those funny fungi!
