Hello everyone, it's me, Verónica (@vero.kt), and this is my first post for Rubber Dance and I'm so happy  to be here. I hope to inspire you and have fun together creating. To make today's tags, I have chosen the butterflies of set Grungy Butterflies .   We go with the step by step of these colorful tags. F or the background of the tags I used the emboss resist technique with stamps from the Grungy Stuff and  Grungy Sequins sets.  I use emboss ink (Versamark) and superfine translucent powders (Ranger). To color the background I use Lindy´s magical pigments as watercolors.  I choose them for the intensity of color and brightness that these pigments have. Delighted with the result and the tags background colors. Now it's time to add background stamps to integrate the composition, I use a permanent waterproof ink. Hi Folks and welcome to the Rubber Dance Blog.  Majo here. Today I 'd like to show you a card I made with the beautiful Dragonfly . I started with a piece of scrap paper, I always have lots of inked paper at hand. This one is made with Distress Oxides in Spun Sugar, Bundled Sage and Tumbled Glass. I stamped the dragonfly and the sentiment and colored my main image with the colours mentioned above, just to make it stand out a bit. To give my card a frame, I stamped the stitches from the Grungy Borders set and on the corners the little "balls" from the Fish Diet set . I hope you also love dragonflies as much as I do, they're so very light and shimmery. I love to watch them in our garden. Here are some close ups ... Hi Everyone, Cornelia here today, playing with that funny fish from the Fish diet set. My Stamp supplies: Fish Diet ,  Funny Birthday  Such great sets, love them both! And that's how I made this card: I stamped the fish and heat embossed him with clear embossing powder. Colored him with a combination of Kaleidocolor inks and Stabilo markers. It's just easier to color, when you heat embossed it - less coloring outside the lines ;) I added the sentiment and some Washi tape. Trimmed the card and added a piece of glitzi paper on the side. Don't forget about our challenge, which goes until the end of the month. Play along, if you find time! Hi Everyone, Cornelia here today. I love interactive card and especially those magic cards, where the color all of a sudden appears. So here you see the card with the slider in and below its out. My Stamp supplies: Fish Diet  Such a hilarious set, isn't it? And that's how I made this card: I stamped the fish I colored it with Inktense Stamped the fish again onto a clear acrylic sheet Took blue card stick and cut it to size Glued the colored and clear fish in, so they perfectly overlap Made the slider and added stops to the blue card base, so you don't pull it out accidentally and then glued it all together. I also added some green paper to the end of the slider, decorated it and decorated my blue frame. It's better to do this beforehand, because if you don't use heat resistant acrylic it can warp... And now the color magically appears if you pull the slider. See! You can make this in any ...

Hello, crafty friends!  It's Mary Szymanski here as April's Guest Designer! I'm so glad to be able to show you how I used the awesome  Fish Diet Stamps to make this art journal page super fun! I started with a 5x6 piece of Bristol cardstock that I had scraped white gesso onto and stuck down some scraps of drywall tape to.  I made an easy under the sea background by rolling blue and green acrylic paints over the texture with my brayer.  I added a bit of quinacridone nickel azo gold and yellow along the way. I wanted to add some schools of fish, but didn't want to hand draw them, so I used gray acrylic paint through a 'v' stencil and added little eyeballs for some easy fishies! I used a black paint marker to make the fish stand out a bit from the background. I added some other stenciling to the background with blue acrylic paint for some added texture.  Then I got to work on the fish skeleton.  I stamped the skeleton, extra bones an...
