Hello.  Gail from the design team here today.  My first chance to wish you a happy new year.  Wow, 2017.  And I have finally managed to make myself a never-ending calendar.  I have seen various styles of these around and have been meaning to make one, and now I have.  I did think I would go with the cube style, but then I saw some that looked similar to this one and decided to make this style instead.   I kinda winged the design from a picture I saw.  I decided to use this months Rubber Dance challenge colours because I quite like red, white and blue.  Especially blue LOL. I started by cutting my panels from chipboard using Sizzix Postage Stamp dies.  I arranged them on this 30 x 30cm sheet to show that you could cut them from one sheet.  Well, just about...... I used my brand new Kuretake watercolors together with some egg stamps from Rubber Dance. You'll get really nice results when you use watercolor instead of normal ink for stamping. Hello! Majo here today. I used the Stamp Frame die from Sizzix, Rubber Dance Stamps * Vintage Birds * and * Envelope Stamps *. I coloured the background with Distress Ink. Don't forget to use your 15% coupon with code *majo2016* when Shopping at Rubber Dance Stamps :)

Hi my dear crafty friends. It's Susanne today and I like to share this fresh card with you. It's really easy to make. The background is embossed with a Sizzix Embossing Folder. I colored it with Distress Ink Crushed Olive and a watertank brush. I added some black splatters with an acrylic spray. For the left upper corner I used  a piece of white cardstock that I stamped with the Old Book Page stamp from Rubber Dance. I tore it to the right size and cut some negative shapes with a tiny bird, an arrow and a heart die. The gorgeous sentiment "today I choose to be happy" is embossed with black embossing powder. I stamped the Bird with Distress Ink Barn Door and Pumice Stone. The body of the bird and it's feet are inked up seperately. I cut it out and adhered it with the branch to the card. That's it. Very easy. It's the first  time I am posting in 2016 on the Rubber Dance Blog! So I wish you all a Happy New Year. See you soon and hap...
