Do you make them?   I discovered Pocket Letter in 2015 and I loooove making these ATCs!!! :)  Of course, I usually make them in Mixed Media style.   For this one, I started with a Gelli Printed paper (using my 8x10" Gelli Plate and Acrylic Paint). Art Pocket letter tutorial

Image
Hello my dear crafty friends! This is Irit from Rubber Dance DT here and today I am going to share my very first ever Pocket Letter. I made it as an ART POCKET LETTER  full of stamping, colors and fun. I was really afraid of this pretty big project. Like we are talking 9 ATC cards and then the spine and the inside things too. But after doing the full tutorial I can say that I love the concept and I am going to make more of those so-called letters. This is a trendy pocket letter that is actually 9 ATC size cards made in the same theme (arts and crafts) with new 7 Gypsies collection that is not about arts at all. I added stamped Rubber Dance  images over most of the cards and used more than dozen of Tattered Angels paints and mists. Step by step tutorial: 1. Cover 9 ivory ATC cards with different pieces of Ordre du Joir 8x8'' paper. 2. Stamp over almost each piece with different arts and crafts stamps from Rubber Dance.  I mostly used brown ink,...

Africa Pocket Letter by Susanne

Image
It's me, Susanne today and it's my turn to give you some quick inspiration and I decided to show you a - guess what!? - Pocket Letter!!!! I know this is nothing new, BUT I used my very own Africa Stamps the first time in real rubber on this Pocket Letter. They are brand new in the Rubber Dance store. If you want to order some stamps in the Rubber Dance store you can use my special discount code " susanne2015 " and you will save 15% on your order! I used a gelli print as my letter basic and gave it some more color with gesso and Gelatos. To add a bit more interest I stamped the "Road Map" as well as the "Grunge Swirls" partial onto the background. The African images are all stamped on white cardstock. I cut them out and adhered them to the pocket cards. I picked Distress Inks to color the images and used the Silhouette Cameo and some Glitter Cardstock from DCWV for the "Africa" title. I addition to the African...

Christmas Pocket Letter by Susanne

Image
Hi my dear Rubber Dance Friends! I have so much fun creating Pocket Letters and I'd like to share one of my techniques today. I used the new Christmas stamp sets together with the "Affirmations", "Music Notes" and the "Pines Fir Yew" set. Let's start! I used a piece of watercolor cardstock that I cut to the size 10.5" by 7.5" and embossed some of the branches from the Pine Fir Yew set with white powder. I colored the background with the Marabu Art Spray. I really like these sprays,  because they are waterproof when they are dry. I used Distress Ink Walnut Stain to add some droplets. I pressed the the ink pad onto an acrylic block, added some water and let the drops fall down. Finally I made some smaller splatters and used a bit of Pearlescent watercolors to make it shimmering. I stamped some circles from the "Round in Circles" set, some of the cones from the "Frosty Friends" set and the ...
