The  Fish Diet  stamp set made me want to create a collage on sea-themed-pictures. Think how you could use this over a photograph of a (menu of a) restaurant where you were served very tasty fish and you ate it to the bone .. ... or as I did here: to make a collage over a photograph taken at the beach... I've actually recorded a video for you all, but I realize now that editing video's is not as easy as I thought. I'm working on that part. I made printscreens of parts of the video of a second project to provide you with the step by step of this technique.  (Click on the images for a bigger picture.) Stamp the fish with a solvent ink onto a piece of a transparant sheet or acetate. Gather some sea-themed pictures.... ... by placing the stamped image on acetate over them...  ... you can decide whether it will be useful for this technique.  For this example: Stamp the image onto the card with a light solvent ink.  ...

Today two recycled booklets I will use as mini art journals, from me, Ellie Knol. I´ve used the  Whale Wishes  and the  Fish Diet   stamp sets..  I dissembled the books first, and got rid of both the original end papers inside as that was torn by doing so...  ... leaving me with the cover plus spine intact..  .. I covered the outside by adhering part of an A4 gelliprint with muted pink and greenish colors (using a Magenta stencil in case you wonder) ....  ... I brushed some matte medium to the surface to give it some protection...   .. stamped onto it with StaZon blazing red ink..   .. gave it some extra color with green distress ink..  .. added some white with an acrylic marker...  .. and reassembled the booklets using the second and second last page of the book to use as the new end papers on the inside...
