Rubber Dance Art Stamps - Blog

Hello everyone. Today is my final day as Guest Designer for Rubber Dance Stamps. I would like to say a huge thank you for all the very kind comments you have left here for me X. The Art Work I'm sharing today incorporates Brusho Paints, some stamps from my stash, along with a Stencil and, of course, the Brushes Images from the 'Artist Plate' stamp set that I use all the time and will be featuring at my 'Mail Art' Workshops during March. I have to admit I was inspired to decorate/create this Envelope by Bibi herself, when she sent my stamps in a 'Mail Art' package that she had created. The ''ONLY DULL PEOPLE SEND DULL ENVELOPES'' stamp was also in the package and I LOVE,love, love that stamp! Hello, Eileen Godwin back with you again as Guest Designer for the day, to share another card made using the fabulous ' Artist Plate Stamps ' designed for Rubber Dance by the talented Katy Leitch. This stamp set is such a good investment as they are so versatile and good quality. Distress Inks and a 'Die Cut Circle' for the background, Black Versafine Ink to stamp the images. I decoupaged the 'tube' and finally, a gold pen to highlight the scissors. Flick some water over the circles for 'texture', easy and fun to make. It's great to be asked to do another 'Guest Spot' on the Rubber Dance Blog I really enjoyed making this project. Thank you for looking today and I'll be back in March. Eileen x

Hello, I'm Eileen Godwin and I'm delighted to be the Guest Blogger for Rubber Dance Stamps today. I've had such fun with this Artist Plate Set designed by Katy Leitch. I always keep 'Mop Up' clothes on my desk to collect all the drips of paint (Brusho Paints in particular) odd splashes from dripping with ink stencils and 'plonk it down 'ere why don't yer' coffee cup ring stains! The cloths are strong, recycled, paper cleaning cloths. I've used one here, cut with a Circle Die for this background. So quick and easy to stamp on with Black Archival Ink using the Paint Brushes Stamps from the set . A White Pigment Ink pen to highlight the Brushes images and a few flicks of black gesso from a paintbrush on top of the background to add more interest...... job done. I have so enjoyed my Guest Blogging day today. Many thanks for asking me, Bibi and Katy. Thank you for looking today.... and I'll be back in a couple of weeks! Ei...
