Hi Folks and welcome to the Rubber Dance Blog.  Majo here. Today I 'd like to show you a card I made with the beautiful Dragonfly . I started with a piece of scrap paper, I always have lots of inked paper at hand. This one is made with Distress Oxides in Spun Sugar, Bundled Sage and Tumbled Glass. I stamped the dragonfly and the sentiment and colored my main image with the colours mentioned above, just to make it stand out a bit. To give my card a frame, I stamped the stitches from the Grungy Borders set and on the corners the little "balls" from the Fish Diet set . I hope you also love dragonflies as much as I do, they're so very light and shimmery. I love to watch them in our garden. Here are some close ups ... And these are the stamps I used: Dragonfly and Leaf Sentiment from the Set Grungy Butterflies Little balls from the Set Fish Diet Stitches from the Set Grungy Borders This is where you can get all the beauties: ...

Dragonfly Challenge Tags - by Bibi

Klikk her for å slese dette innlegget på norsk (post in Norwegian) Hello there! Our monthly challenge here at Rubber Dance celebrates its 2nd anniversary this month . The challenge this time is to create something with one of five previous colour swatches. I couldn't decide which colour swatch to use, so I used them all!  One tag for each colour combo: After I had coloured the tags in their respective months' colours, I used a sequin waste and modelling paste for the white dots. After those had dried, I stamped the Old Bookmark Stamp with black ink on the dots. Close-up below, where you also can see the gemstone I glued beneath the name of the months: The circles under the Dragonflies and month tags are punched out from an old dictionary. The stamped stars on the left hand side of the tags are from the  Textured Flowers  set.  The dragonflies were coloured in with Inktense watercolour pencils and painted with a transparent shimmer mix....

Easy made ATC tutorial

Image
Hello my dear friends! Irit from International design team is here  and  I welcome to my Rubber Dance  tutorial. Today I am going to share an ATC trio made with the new Rubber Dance stamps - Vintage Ads and some older stamps too. Those new stamps are just perfect for the ATC size and it was just fun to make all three ATC at once in a very similar way. So here is my step by step tutorial: 1. Stamp 3 vintage ads stamps from Vintage Ads new set with clear embossing ink and heat emboss with white embossing powder. Sorry, i just forgot to take the  photo of this step, but it's easy to follow even without the photo. 2. Mist all three cards with  Tattered Angels mists and add a bit of Glam paint. This paint is very watery and reacts just like mists. Let your cards dry. 3.Stamp butterflies, a bee  and  a dragonfly over white cardstock using clear embossing ink and black embossing powder.I used  Rubber Dance stamps : ...

Dare to Dream Art Page

Image
Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new tutorial made with Rubber Dance delicious stamps . This is single art page made with a lot of mediums and this time I used Faber Castell DMC products as my mediums and Rebecca Baer stencils  and a lot of Mixed Media page.  Step by step tutorial: 1. Make the background over thick white cardstock with Faber Castell gelatos and wipe the colors with baby wipe. I made rectangles with 5-6 different colors, some are metallic colors and then blended them all together without adding any water. 2.Use Rebecca Baer stencils- two of them- with modeling paste  over the watercolored page. You may secure the stencils with washi tape as shown. This is  how this page looks  without the stencils and it's still wet.  3.Cover the main circled areas with a thick layer of Faber Castell DMC Glaze Medium. Add a few more smaller circles on the " empty areas"  as shown for more interest...
