ATB Butterflies and Bee by Samantha Read

Image
Hello, Samantha here today and I'm sharing with you an Artist Trading Block using lots of wonderful Rubber Dance stamps. I used six sets in total but I think it shows brilliantly how all the different sets can be so versatile and work fantastically together.  As I was making this Spring had started to arrive and in my head that took me to days of better weather and time spent outdoors enjoying all that nature has to offer, except pollen! Atchoo! I had also had some of these ATB's in my art room for so long I thought it was time to use them, they may be a new addiction. Thankfully the ATB's were flat packed so just a little gluing and they're ready to go. The one I used for this project was just under 3inches square. I used black gesso around the edges, this really makes the finished squares really pop when glued on. I got organised and stamped all the images and die cut extra components. Using Distress Inks I used the spritz and smoosh technique to create the colour of ...

Art Journal Spread by Shilpa

Image
Hello Everyone, Shilpa here, I would like to share art Journal spread today for which I have used Rubber Dance Loose flowers stamp set designed by Susanne This is a three pages spread. Small page in between creates an interest.  To start with I created layers with acrylic paints and background stamping. I further added layers with stenciling. On another white card stock, I stamped Doodle flowers with black Archival Ink. And Colored them with Acrylic paints. As a focal point, I adhered those colored flowers on the pages. I also did some doodling with white Posca markers. With few splatters and Art marks I finished the page. Thanks so much for stopping by. Mama Owl - Art Journal Page Video Tutorial by Susanne

Image
Hello everyone!!! I'd like to share a new art journal page today with our cute Mama Owl stamp. I worked in my envelope art journal and used Distress Oxides to create that background. I used the Alphabet Uno stamp set to create the letters. A nice way to use the alphabet stamps is to stamp them onto some precoloured paper, such as gelli prints. You can cut our tiles and use those to create titles on your journal pages, canvases or scrapbook layouts. Enjoy watching the video: Here are some close-ups: Thank you so much for stopping by today! We have a sale going on in the Rubber Dance online store. All our Valentine's sets are 20% off! So jump over and have a look into our sale section . Hello everyone, Debs with you today to share a card I made. Well! We all need to keep our card stash full don't we, you just never know when you might need one. This is a quick card to make, so why not make a few. Here's how I did it.   Here's what you need. Rubber Dance - Butterfly Trio Paper Artsy - Fresco Acrylic Paint Ranger - Distress Oxide, Distress Crayons, Black Archival Ink, large Chitchat stickers. Stabilo All Black  Signo White Gell Pen Step 1-using 3 colours of acrylic paint roughly add to a 4x6 plain white card. You can cover the card, but I like to leave some white. You will lose most of it anyway but it will give interest and depth to your card.  Step 2-  using the oxides with a blending tool I added some colour in several patches. I dried the ink, then gently spritzed the card with water, dried it and repeat. Do this as many times you like, but be careful not to soak your card too much.    Step 3...
