Mail Art ► Majo

Image
Hi Folks! Good to see you here on the blog. I haven't done any Mail Art for awhile, so I thought it was about time to start this fun again. I used a variety of stamps for my envelope.  I started by stamping the "address label" and covered this with a piece of scrap paper. I stamped my main image, the gorgeous giraffe, and masked it with drawing gum. When I finished coloring the envelope with Distress Oxides I stamped different stars on top and the grunge circles on the bottom. The sentiment leaves me enough room to add an address when I send this Mail Art out. I hope you also enjoy making Mail Art every once in a while to send out your letters. I have used the following stamps: Grungy Borders Grungy Stuff Giraffe Sentiment Stars from the set Textured Flowers Stars from the set Textured Feathers  Have a good week and Happy Crafting ♥

Just adore Me

Image
Hi Everyone, Cornelia here today. I love this sweet kittie from the set Friends fur-ever. My Stamp supplies: Adore Me ,  Friends Fur-ever This card was really easy to make. I stamped and fuzzy cut the kittie and colored it. The background is simply designer paper and I added the kittie to it. The sentiment is heat embossed onto a left over strip of paper. I trimmed the paper to have a strip of white card base at the top and the bottom. Don't forget about our challenge, which goes until the end of the month. Play along, if you find time! You'll find it in the  Facebook Rubber Dance Stamping Lounge  and its  those three colors you see below or anything goes with Rubber Dance stamps. Happy Rubber Dancing!

A journal page tutorial with Beautiful bugs by Saadia Nawaz

Image
Hi everyone,  Saadia here with a quick and easy journal page tutorial. I hope you like it.  Let's start our journal page: I applied ink sprays on two areas of the page.  After that, I did background stamping with  Grungy stuff  and  Art defined  Rubber Dance stamps. I heat embossed a quote 'Believe in Yourself' from  Think again set, and cut the words 'Be you' for the title of this page. This stamp set has many beautiful words and quotes.  Finished my journal page by adding paint splatters and a small bee from  Beautiful bugs  stamp set.  That's all for now  A reminder that we have a stamping challenge that goes all month on our face book page which you can find Here . It is always ANYTHING GOES/ or a colour combo if you wish Thank you for your precious time.  Take care.  Saadia Nawaz

Hi lovely Rubber Dance friends, today I have another page for my mini album with Rubber Dance stamps  Textured Flowers  and Mix a Sentiment .  I used a mix of Ranger ink  Distress Oxide and Archival ink in combination with embossing powder. The Textured Flowers set is so versatile that you don't need anything else to make a fun art journal page, card or other project. The Distress Oxide that I used. I turned a little mistake into an accent on my page. For the sentiment or title on my page I used the super fun  Mix a Sentiment . A stamp you will love and use over and over for your papercrafting especially for art journaling and if you like words and word strips. And I have a video tutorial for you that you can watch HERE Thanks for stopping by and make sure to keep on Crafting! More Art Journal Pages in the Happy Journal by Evelyn

Image
Hello lovely Rubber Dancer, it´s Evelyn here today! May be you´ve seen my Happy Journal I made with the beautiful Rubber Dance stamps. I also started to fill the pages with life. I really love to work in this little journal, it´s such a nice size. Here are my next pages. For this pages I used my new Mermaid Markers from Jane Davenport to create the background. I randomly spreat different colors to the pages, spritzed with water and let them run.  To tone down everything and to add more texture I added white Gesso to the surface and took parts of it off using a stencil and a baby wipe. I stamped the circles from the Grungy Stuff stamp set  with black Archival ink on both edges, colored them with the same colors I used on the background and doodled with a white Posca pen. From the same stamp set I used my beloved grungy circles, which I stamped with Garden Patina Archival ink to the background. Next I used the Doodle Flowers  stamp set. I stamped the l

Fish Swim with Suzi

Good Day All, Today it's my pleasure to share with you another project I've created using the wonderful Red Rubber Stamps by Rubber Dance Stamps .  For Today's project I used the super cute 'Fish Swim Love' set of stamps; I've combined them with a background I created on a Round Gelli Plate with Paint Pens. Here's a peek at my finished card; First of all I'd like to show you how I created the background scene for my Fishes.  I used a Round Gelli Plate along with a selection of Posca Paint Pens. The first layer in green, Then pale blue, Followed by dark blue, The Final Layer of Paint Pens in brown and black. I then sponged on a layer of Prussian Blue, Cerulean Blue and Titanium White blended together. Finally I pulled my print to reveal my background scene. I then stamped out some Fish, A large one onto a piece of Yellow Gelli Print, and the small fish I stamped in orange, pink and purple. Next I die cut

Butterfly Girl Distress Crayons Card by Dot

Image
Hi everyone, It's Dot here with a fun card for you that uses Distress Crayons, a little Distress Ink and some fabulous Rubber Dance stamps. The background for this is made with Distress Crayons using the colours from this month's challenge over on f acebook. After you've covered your card thinly with white gesso, the crayons are so easy to blend together with a damp finger. Then all you do is take some crayon off with a stencil and baby wipe, and add some colour on through the stencil. The sentiment is one that I've put together myself using the Mix A Sentiment stamp set. It was easy to stamp the whole sheet and then cut out the words that I wanted to use. I LOVE this  stamp set! I'll stamp up some more of these so that I've got them ready to use. Weed Love has some dandelion stamps in the set and they were perfect for the Butterfly Girl to fly around. I was watching Gerry's recent video, here, and she showed a wonderful w

Fish Birthday with Cornelia

Image
Hi Everyone, Cornelia here today, playing with that funny fish from the Fish diet set. My Stamp supplies: Fish Diet ,  Funny Birthday  Such great sets, love them both! And that's how I made this card: I stamped the fish and heat embossed him with clear embossing powder. Colored him with a combination of Kaleidocolor inks and Stabilo markers. It's just easier to color, when you heat embossed it - less coloring outside the lines ;) I added the sentiment and some Washi tape. Trimmed the card and added a piece of glitzi paper on the side. Don't forget about our challenge, which goes until the end of the month. Play along, if you find time! You'll find it in the  Facebook Rubber Dance Stamping Lounge  and its  those three colors you see below or anything goes with Rubber Dance stamps. Happy Rubber Dancing!
