Sweet Dreams - mixed media in pastel colours


Hello everyone! This is Olga from the Design Team and I'm so glad to see you here!  As you know, I love nature very much and I always find a lot of inspiration in the beauty of the nature! Today I come to you with my new nature card "Sweet Dreams". I hope that this card will inspire you for your new creations.

Notice the lovely bird nest in pink? It's a stamp from the Vintage Birds sheet.





The lovely leaf stamps are from the sheet called I Love Leaves, and you know I love leaves! So, it's my mix of the stamps for your inspiration!  I love to use stamps in my own way, just color them with acryl paints and stamp on the office paper. Them I cut them out and use in my creations. It's very simple to do and I love how the stamped images look - so full of detail! Just try to do it and you will be amazed! Sounds interesting? Lets create together!

Always Sparkle - Envelope Book Tutorial by Sue

Good afternoon and happy Saturday, welcome to the weekend! It's Sue here with my envelope book. Making your own books and journals is very popular at the moment, and I wanted to have a go. I also wanted to use supplies that I had already as it's just after Christmas and I'm already in 2022's craft budget. So I have quite a few of these -  Colour Craft lustre paints. Loads of these - rather posh DL pearlised envelopes. I bought a box full in a closing down sale, so have a box full less 3! And these, my favourite bright StazOn inks. So to work (well play really, I'm making it all up as I go along) I started by painting my envelopes with the paints, then added some stencilling in a contrasting colour. I've used totally different colours so that I've got a choice of colours for my toppers. I've used metallics on this one and they are really nice! For the 'in between

Penguins Playing

Hi everyone, I hope you have enjoyed the Christmas and New Year season and are raring to go in 2018.  The best part of having stamps is just having fun with them! So my cards today are all about having fun. The  Playful Penguins  have been catching my eye for some time. After making one card, the penguins kept looking at me - so I made another one! I couldn't decide which one to post so I'm sharing BOTH cards with you today. The background for this was super easy - it was some scrap card from playing with my gelli plate.   Now it's fair to say that I really have no idea what I'm doing when I use my gelli plate, so everything is accidental.  I like it that way though, it's fun to just enjoy the process and to not over-think it.
