Meet the fabulous members of the
Rubber Dance Design Team

March - August 2018

Susanne Rose:
Social Media Manager, DT Coordinator, Stamp Designer

I'm Susanne Rose from Germany, mum of two lovely kids and a full time crafter and mixed media artist. I started painting with acrylics when I was about 15 years old. I took a break with "messing around" after my study because I started with photography and some graphic design. After my daughter was born, I became a scrapbooker and my passion started growing. Now I love creating cards, mini albums and different mixed media pieces. I am addicted to stamps, dies, colors and papers! My style is most of the time very colorful. I try to express my mood in everything I do. I am very proud to be part of this awesome and talented design team!

Donna Gray:
Stamp Designer

Hi, my name is Donna and I'm from the UK. I'm a freelance stamp designer who loves everything and anything quirky! I enjoy creating with many different types of mediums and colours and the only limit is where to store everything!

Asia Marquet (France)

Hi, my name is Asia. I live in France although I am of Polish origin. I have two small, beautiful children, cute husband and a totally black cat. I always loved crafting but never went to any art school. When I had my daughter, I started making smash book for her. Then for my son:) And then, in 2015, after the passing of my Dad, I started creating out of sorrow. Got hooked up with mixed-media, never let go since. I love simple, monochromatic layouts, art journal, ATC's, but I like to go out of my comfort zone now and again. Black is definitely my friend.

Dot Leathbridge:

Hi, I'm Dot Leathbridge and I live in Australia.  My 2 boys are grown now often pop in and are my greatest supports.  Love them heaps.  I live near the sea and love going out in a  whaleboat every now and then with friends.  There's nothing quite like being out on the water for clearing your mind.
My first stamp was bought at a stamp party when the kids were little and I was instantly hooked.  After a long break I started again from scratch 7 years ago. The world of stamping had changed, with new products, stamps, techniques...and it has been exciting every since.  i love experimenting with stamps and ink.  Take classes. Give classes. And generally spread the love of being crafty.
Bringing a stamp to life and having it tell a story, or give a feeling, makes me happy.

Sue Davies:

Hi, my name's Sue, known in blogland as Sue The Iron.
I've been crafting for about ten years now, and rubber stamps, ink and paint are my passions, along with stencils and pastels.
I retired from work last year so should have lots more time to play - I don't know what happened here but I seem to be busier than ever.
I'm thrilled to be joining the new Rubber Dance Challenge Team and look forward to playing with these wonderful stamps.
Here's to getting inky!

Melina Dahl:
Stamp Designer

My name is Melina and I live in Sweden with my husband and 4 children. I work as a physiotherapist.
In my spare time I love to be creative. I find it really therapeutic and is my way to charge my batteries . It all started several years ago with cardmaking and scrapbooking albums for my children. The last year, or so, I've started to play more and more with mixed media and art journaling. I love the creative process and the calmness it gives me.

Deborah Wainwright:
Stamp Designer

Hello my name is Deborah but most of my friends call me Debs. I started my crafting journey in March 2013, when I discovered the crafting world. Sure, I've always dabbled with paint and drawing since being a child, and I had a go at jewellery making a few years back, but finding out about the array of artists and products you could use to create the most wonderful art, was like being a child in a sweet shop.
My love of anything vintage, of painting and drawing, of stamping and mixed media, of crochet and felting and I could go on, has grown into a very strong passion, which I know will continue on. I cannot imagine life without being able to create, but I guess many of you feel the same. That the glue that sticks this community together and I'm so happy to be part of it. Hugs x

Gail aka ionabunny
Hi, my name is Gail, aka ionabunny, and I live in Rogaland, Norway with my partner.  I moved to Norway 10 years ago from England.  I have always enjoyed crafting, but making cards and playing with paper and colours are my favourite things to do.  I like to learn new techniques and describe my style as often simple, seldom clean.  I make mostly cards, ATC's and tags and love mixed media.  I am very pleased to be a part of the Rubber Dance design team and hope that some of you will find inspiration in the things I make.  Hugz

Anita Sæløen:

Hello, my name is Anita, I am the mother of two grownup kids and one young child and grandmother to the world's cutest grandchild of five years. I am married with Magne and together we live in the world's most beautiful city, Bergen. I've always been an artist, ever since I drew a big Garfield on the new and ugly wallpaper in my childhood bedroom .... My parents were initially outraged, but after thinking about and looking more closely at the drawing I was advised to take the arts school after primary school. That didn't happen, but I have always enjoyed drawing, painting and other crafts.
During the the last few years I have fallen madly in love with stamps and I'm addicted to the smell of rubber stamps, paper, paint and ink and being creative and making something beautiful. I am an art journal and canvas artist. I love bright colors and Mixed Media / Abstract Art. I hope and believe that I can inspire others to get into the art world - for this is both therapy, mindfullnes, meditation and immense pleasure at once. I am both proud and happy to be a part of the Rubber Dance Design Team.

The owner of Rubber Dance

Bibi Lindahl (Norway)
Stamp manufacturer

I live in Norway with my sweethearts - my man and our dogs. I've been stamping since 1992 and made stamps for sale since 1999. I sold my first stamp company in 2005 when I went back to college, but 5 years later I was back at it again making stamps out of my own nature prints, before finally launching Rubber Dance in 2014. I could never have done this without the help of my FABULOUS Design Team (past and present members), and I am forever grateful for all the work they do, their support and enthusiasm! Same goes for the generous contributions made by several guest designers, and last, but not least, all our devoted fans, retailers, and customers and around the world! From the bottom of my heart: Thank you!! ♥ Running this company takes most of my time, but once in a while I have the time to create and blog at:
