Simplicity Sunday - easy journal spread by Melina

Hello!

It´s Melina here today sharing a really easy and simple journal spread
on this Simplicity Sunday. Hope you enjoy your weekend and are
up for some creating!

This is one of my really small journals. I often use it to mop up leftover
paint from other projects. So, I already had some green and orange going on
in the background. I took out my Round in Circles stamp set and started playing.
I stamped with different stamps from the set using green, orange, turquoise, red and
brown Distress Oxides. I made some white and black splatters and drew a black
line to frame the spread. For the focal point I just piled up some scrap pieces of
old book paper and added a sentiment from Tim Holtz.
Here are some close-ups for you.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, and hope you found some inspiration from
my simple, grungy journal spread!

Hope to see you in our newly started Facebook group
Rubber Dance Stamping Lounge. There you can share your lovely art
made with Rubber Dance stamps and join our monthly challenges.

Hugs, Melina

Lovely spread, Melina! For those of us who don't make art journals on a daily basis, it might look complicated at first glance... but you make it sound easy enough! Great idea to use an art journal page or two to mop up leftover paint, that way we always have a starting point. Thank you so much for sharing! ♥ ♥ ♥
